The only way to help him is to work a system where he always has acres of space - but is he worth it? Is it worth sacrificing other parts of the team to make Granero look good?

Two reasons I say no -1 when he has the space he does not really use it in some special way that others do not - 2 that his attitude is off he has had months not to work out he needs to speed up or change his game but he has done neither, too much of the sulky primadonna about him which is the last thing a club battling relegation can afford to carry.

Yesterday Granero was a passenger - the game passed him by until Jenas put him out of his misery - when Jenas is an upgrade that tells you a lot.
When he has space he doesn't use it thats cos we've no runners making runs when he gets the ball he turns right then left looking for a pass then often gets cought .at Barsa he had positive front runners looking for space thats what their about attacking football , if H sticks with 2 up front and wide player ie J H he would find his passing game only snag we are running out games .
When its said he needs a minder its some one to run in front or across him to act as a shield to give bit more time at stoke they do all over the place to point of boredom , but as I posted earlier would it leave us a man short at times , if he's a passenger our players are as guilty as him

funny how many chances this chap is getting and when he plays badly its because the players around him arent good enough, if it was barton or swp performing the way he does people would have their pitch forks out. he has been poor, very poor in my opinion. is this because he cant be bothered or because hes not as good as people think.
