He does seem to get quite a few suicide passes to deal with which makes him look worse.

Very very good ball player but a bit lightweight and you can tell he is still struggling to fully adapt to the PL and its' pace but getting caught on the ball.
Seems a good lad though with the right attitude and I like him; would like to see him & Diakite in CM.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I think he's a great player but is used to playing alongside players of a far higher calibre who give you options for passes. So many times when he receives the ball there is no movement from our players and he has keep twisting and turning looking for a pass and then gets caught in possession.

And the fact that he was clearly unhappy about being subbed at least showed a positive attitude.
graneros attitude stinks, i hate the way he argues with the ref rather than getting on with the game like everybody else is. awful habit which im guessing he picked up at real

Needs a protector or a minder... what the hell are you lot on about this is football not rugby you cannot employ players to push opponents away from your stars and he is not getting fouled constantly so much as dispossessed because he dawdles - the speed of his mind is too slow for his technique.
The only way to help him is to work a system where he always has acres of space - but is he worth it? Is it worth sacrificing other parts of the team to make Granero look good?
Two reasons I say no -1 when he has the space he does not really use it in some special way that others do not - 2 that his attitude is off he has had months not to work out he needs to speed up or change his game but he has done neither, too much of the sulky primadonna about him which is the last thing a club battling relegation can afford to carry.
Yesterday Granero was a passenger - the game passed him by until Jenas put him out of his misery - when Jenas is an upgrade that tells you a lot.

For me he has fallen a long way short of expectations, really struggles to impose himself on a game and gets caught in possession far more than he should. There is I suppose an element of learning a new league, the pace of the Premier League is very different to La Liga.yeah been disappointing
