A great place if your doing well in the league but not for a bunch who need to knuckle down and bond with each other

Need to start naming and shaming, it cant be all Bosingwa

I read this and was very annoyed. When I thought about it, though, I am just as annoyed about the "first team players" who reported it to the Mirror. They are saying that some players are not trying hard enough and want to move on but they are the ones talking to the Mirror about it. That makes them as bad as the players who want to move on, because they must know that this does not help. I think some of them are jealous. OK the Club has brought in players who are paid more than other players but that is the way of the world. If they are not happy about it then they should do something about it and not spend their time moaning. I realize these are supposed to be the players who care about the club, but if they did they would not go to the newspapers. Somebody is reporting all of this to the papers and I do not think it is the so-called "mercenaries".

Maybe certain players are saying it out of desperation??

Sad sate of affairs whichever way you look at it & again we are the laughing stock.

        Good to be a Ranger.

        Not.

Some of this comes back to the lack of training facilities. If there was a proper training ground with indoor facilities etc. then there would be no need to swan off to places like Dubai.

The saddest thing is that it is easy to believe.

Who are the culprits raving it up and thinking they can stagger into training mugging everyone off?

The board should be going ballistic over this if true!

I have never been to Dubai, but I thought that drinking alcohol was frowned upon and that you can only drink in designated places. Surely if it was as bad as indicated in the article there would have been disturbances and the police would have got involved.

Wow. Most depressing QPR-related article I've read in a long while.

There is clearly a lot of substance to this article, its not a case of a red-top making things up. Lots of detail, and direct quotes from specified players: "first team regular" etc.

First and foremost this puts Harry in a terrible light. This trip is ultimately his responsibility, and it seems he has completely wasted it. Yes, we all know we have overpaid wasters playing for us. We knew that back in November when HR took the job. It's the manager's responsibility to ensure the players aren't treating this as a boozy holiday, and to ensure that they got in a good amount of productive training. 90 mins is an absolute joke. EVEN IF the players could only manage 90 mins outdoors in the heat (which is a joke), they should have spent several hours per day working on tactics, or analysing video of upcoming opponents.

Very worrying comments about farcical training too, and HR barely being around throughout January. Does anyone believe his heart is really in this job? Looks like this post was right after all:

I've just read through Torben's post and this appears to be much more likely than the report in the Mirror.

I love the tens of thousands bit. That's a lot of jagar bombs.

                                Why's that?

This contains quotes from 3 different players.
