    Neville: QPR unexplainable

Gary Neville was left baffled by Queens Park Rangers' 'unexplainable' defending at the weekend but thinks the Premier League's rock-bottom club could still produce a Great Escape.

          Harry doesn't use twitter sadly
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Would not have played Mbia past few games

Not suited to the Premier as poor at reading the game and a liability looking uncomfortable on the ball and poor passes

Plays his best game at right back in front of HR up at Old Trafford > HR sticks him CM there after

Second goal didn't really matter. We were beaten after one and arguably before we set foot on the pitch judging by the lack of effort and urgency.

Seconded started off ok in the middle but has gone off the boil for me. If he just concentrated on destroying their midfield and giving it easy it would be a start but I think he wants to show he can be more then just a tackler when he cant. Like Mackie when he gets the ball he turns and goes backwards

Mbia makes great tackles, but not enough. His concentration and positioning is woeful at times at centre mid. I agree with qpr, would like to see him at centre back, and put Diakite in his place in midfield.

I'm astounded Mbia once commanded a €10 million fee

it isn't the wearing of the gloves that makes our players useless. Messi wears gloves sometimes you know.

If I was Harry I would sit the squad down and make them listen to Nevilles comments. Suggestion that we could stay up against them acting like wet p ussies and not stepping up

You know a player is bad when even Nik agrees

With the 4-5-1 defensive setup we played against top sides e.g. chelsea and spurs, we were able to close down and stay tight on the opposition very quickly while keeping the same shape, there was a sense of urgency. We played completely differently against United; more attacking and spread out. So were unable to do what was done before. However, I think the system we played against United will work against the lesser teams imo, hopefully we stick with it. Should give us more of a chance of scoring first. If we score first in our remaining games, we'll win most if not all of them, I'm sure of it.
