Don't think there is much point in discussing "what ifs". In a way it might have been better if we had gone down last season, because Hughes would probably have left then. Having said that who would we have got as manager? It might have been a manager to get us out of the Championship. Also we probably would not have got players like Cesar and Samba. However, we would not have got the whole bunch of players who are really not very good and would have kept players like Helgussen.
I think what I am saying is the players we had last season had the potential to get us straight back up again and to build from there. I'm not so sure about the players we have now.

Have to agree with W12 and I think we would have sat(?) comfortably mid table around christmas time.
Additionally,Harry would have got much more time to prepare for his window-shopping also. To be honest,not getting Crouch or/and was a huge blow and dissapointment for him and the club, I feel.QPR
