I don't think he's the best of players but he did last season & would of this season given his all & put that bull dog spirit into QPR when it was really bleak. I'm not one to say what if as I'm very much a here & now person but I do think he gets unfair treatment from referees ( Norwich red card etc ). No excusing his Man City actions, that could of got us relegation single handedUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free

He kept giving the ball away too much before he was dropped during that seminal Liverpool game. Once he came back he was a much better player and indeed had played well up to his moment of madness against City as well.Comment
