I just remembered why he got sacked and what I (and many others) heard about him towards the end.
1. Lost the dressing room...
2. Only turned up to training on Thursdays! ...
3. Left Keith Curle to train with the players when he wasn't there (Curle was rumoured to be an alcoholic at the time, turned up p*ssed!).
can i add
openly stated that he would drive adel to psg,
publicly slated trore,
after a match he ran onto the pitch pushing and shoving furlain and moaning after in the media that furlain should have commited a proffesional foul (cheat)
exposing a fans email address on match of the day,
along with the signings of macheda, puncheon (who never got more than 5 mins playing time) moen, anton ferdinand etc etc etc.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
Arry wont be here next season ,and we`ll need somone to get us out of the championship
In a presses Harry said he'd stay. IMO he would stay unless he got a good offer & I don't blame the guy
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
In the increasing likelihood that we go down - I think that the best solution for us is to have a manager who understands how to get the best out of Adel (provided he stays) in a championship situation. So for that - I hope that Harry says. If he doesn't - Warnock would be a natural, ready-made solution. He is also a Rangers legend.
anyway, warnkock back to qpr will never happen lmao
its time for these dinosour type hoof and punt so called managers to leave football and to retire back to their coal mining comunities.
leave football for the new generation.
hope he ends up in cornwall and never to be heard of again.
Regardless of how things ended up for us with Warnock in the end, it's disgraceful to talk about him in such a patronising way IMO.
He stopped us going into League 1 and gave us one of our best seasons in living memory. The lack of respect you're showing for what he did for us is an embarrassment and a sad indictment of what some of our 'fans' have become.
Im sure there are a few tears over at the warnkockreport messageboard right now over his impending retirement from football.
Loving it.
just hope my contribution over at the leeds messageboard this past several months which helped stoke the flames of the warnkock out movement has brought about this dinosours end in football for good!

one mans hero is another mans villan.
in my view its an embarrassment that some claim warnock kept us up that season.
what about the players and coaching staff along with the.................... yes............ owners at the time tango and cash. do they not get any credit at all?

99% of the time it is "hoof" football that you have to play in the championship...... or more to the point..... to get out of it.
Warnock, IMO, got the blend just right with us - and he's got the trophy to show for it. Solid seasoned pros like Derry and Clint providing the "hoof" - and talent like Adel and to a degree, Ale providing a little bit of flair.

So by that logic Mark hughes kept us in the premier league last season so is he a hero too?

That cannot be denied given the context.
good post. you have a point. but that style of play does not cut it in the prem league (stoke exception) which is why he is and has always been a faliure when managing in two prem league seasons with two different clubs in his 30 years of managing.
and you conveniently ignore the fact that adel scored 20 odd goals along with the £mils that was invested by tango and cash that season.
warnocks tactics were probably "lump the ball up to adel and let him do the job, then i can claim the glory"
Warnock's tactics got us promoted, regardless of what they were and who they involved.
And since when was it a crime to build a team and style of play around your best player? You do realise Holloway is doing exactly that with Palace & Zaha at the moment and is looking like getting promoted?
But then I'm sure the Palace fans are up in arms about this blatant attempt to play to their teams strengths, as Barca fans are with Messi being the focus of their play.
Your personal hatred for Warnock is so extreme that it makes you completely oblivious to what he did for us.

tango and cash money and adel tarrabts ability along with the coaches coaching got us promoted also, yet they get no credit from most on here!
