So everyone is getting on a posters back because his views on our survival differ..... Im with w12, I know people don't like his views but I share them too. Why do people think we are going to turn into a competitive fighting unit over night....

They're saying we 'might', not we 'are', the reason being that we did just that last season (under an inferior manager) so we have form there. Unlikely, granted, but stranger things happen at sea.

It's threads like this where you see the optimists from the pessimists. That's not a slight on either type, it's just a basic character trait. Nor is it about who's being the more or less realistic, or who is deluded and who has blind faith etc etc.

Well said, I personally feel better being postive... got enough sh-eite at work etc etc to feel down about. It is my choice to see the postive until we are mathematically down, then the reality kicks in.
Also it is not for me to have a pop at anyone else just because they are airing their views. Each to their own and all that.
