I know it's your opinion but I think it was a good signing because A, he changes the back 4 completely for the better as he's one of the top centre backs in Europe ( one of the top! Not the top ) & B we could get 12.5million back for him if we wanted to ( Same as Remy for 8million )

I agree with you about Harriman though, he's very good & I still stick by he was one of our best pre-season players but because he's not a 'big name' he wasn't even at least on the bench this season which made me very angry tbh

I am not saying Samba is a over priced player, what I am saying is that a defender won't save us. We have always lacked strikers and signing just remy with a striker going in the other direction was the nail in our coffin. FFS having to start mackie upfront is a joke and we should of properly addressed our striker issue. Yes hughes is useless but I am judging the players and harry since and there has been little to no improvement and that's just a fact.

We'll get our money back on Samba, so not a waste. I still chuckle at all the 'we need a CB ffs' which went on for half the season when as soon as AJ done his fetlock it was glaringly obvious we were by far and away weakest up front. Having no outlets or attacking threat simply put more pressure on the defence and turned the call for a CB into a self-fulfilling prophecy.
