The seats are too tightly packed for safe passage of beer carrying, I would be well hacked off if some dumpty spilled beer all over me from the row above or while passing past. Agree with Paul M above.

great idea - football fans need to be treated like other sports fans now. I hate rushing my half time beer.

I already always get some idiots sat round me, booze will make it worseUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

personally I think its an awful idea, the majority of aggravation at football grounds involve people who have had a tipple, it bad enough with people getting up and disrupting people to go for a link during the games now, i cant imagine what it would be like if this were allowed you would have poeople getting up for a pee getting another round in and trying to work their way back to their seat with 3 beers
I swear a % turn up at LR just to drink, the football is just an excuse to get out of the house and infuriatingly for them gets in the way of the drinking for 25 minutes or so each half
I realise it can and does work in other countries, but in this country with the mentality of some of our supporters and in our cramped ground it is a recipe for complete disaster
I would support it if it was only allowed in a particular area of the grounds so that supporters could choose, in line with Paul Masons suggestion above, but as a general rule, no , no ,noits New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
