The seats are too tightly packed for safe passage of beer carrying, I would be well hacked off if some dumpty spilled beer all over me from the row above or while passing past. Agree with Paul M above.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

great idea - football fans need to be treated like other sports fans now. I hate rushing my half time beer.

You could maybe not have one at half time and wait just another 45 mins or so!!!

I already always get some idiots sat round me, booze will make it worse
                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

If its OK for Rugby fans to consume beer, why is it not ok for football fans ?

can't see the point of leaving 5mins early to get to the bar then get back 5 mins late ,i bet theses are the same people that accuse other fans of not being loyal because they leave 5mins early ,so a bad idea

That is my point about rushing...if you don't leave until half time whistle you do have to rush your beer. Being able to take it back to seats would be better all round IMHO. In fact less people drunk as they aren't downing pints in a small window of time.

It doesn't work like that football fans are incapable off acting sensibly. ****heads will be up and down like yoyos spilling drink over everyone and behaving like pigs...unfortunately this is just the way it is so bad idea

personally I think its an awful idea, the majority of aggravation at football grounds involve people who have had a tipple, it bad enough with people getting up and disrupting people to go for a link during the games now, i cant imagine what it would be like if this were allowed you would have poeople getting up for a pee getting another round in and trying to work their way back to their seat with 3 beers

I swear a % turn up at LR just to drink, the football is just an excuse to get out of the house and infuriatingly for them gets in the way of the drinking for 25 minutes or so each half

I realise it can and does work in other countries, but in this country with the mentality of some of our supporters and in our cramped ground it is a recipe for complete disaster

I would support it if it was only allowed in a particular area of the grounds so that supporters could choose, in line with Paul Masons suggestion above, but as a general rule, no , no ,no
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
