i agree totally,we have already lost points because of this and will continue to do so,unless addressed.we STILL need that quality striker,i think young simpson will add a bit,probably better than what we have,but need a powerfull goalscorer,who would score 15 goals.Ipswich guy is not that player.

i think another thing Simpson adds is that he chases down the defenders....a good team defends from the frontline as well as the back.If more players had then energy of Simpson then teams would be closed out of the game

It is an urban myth that we "can't kill off teams" any more than any other team. Everybody I know, with the exception of ManU fans, says THEIR team is exactly the same. And the ManU fans have their own urban myth, perpetrated by Ferguson, that they "like to make things difficult".
In the same way, EVERY team say they're "more likely to lose to a team at the bottom of the League, and beat the top teams", which is clearly nonsense.
Having said all that, we DO need to score goals when we are dominating games, lets hope Mr Simpson can assist us there.......

It will cost us no doubt, but then again we barely ever do kill a team off, I can't remember the last time we played well for 90mins and finished a match 3-0....

Unless we improve, it will cost us many more to come....
