Sorry if this is pretty obvious or has been posted recently, but we have the worst scoring record by far in the whole country and that includes all four English leagues and even the Blue Square Prem.Just 19 goals in 26 league games including a paltry 8 at home in 13 games.Says it all really.

I have been saying for months the table does not lie. First of all we could not win as we had a tough schedule at the beginning of the season, then it was we needed time to bond, then we were going to win our easy matches in the autumn. Now we have people saying we have a run of easy matches in March. We would need a run of 5 or 6 wins on the trot. It is not going to happen. The team is poor amongst a poor EPL bottom 8. Some people on this forum think players are better than they are but they are not otherwise we would not be in this mess. We even have someone say bring Diakite back into the team. I am not saying he is worse than the others but he will not make any difference. They are all pretty much the same in midfield.

If anything that should make the fans want to win even more. No doubt it's a hell of a lot better under Harry then Mark. The club need usUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

No real surprise in stats. We keep starting with either 0 or 1 striker. Adel and SWP can't hit a barn door (think at one stage last season they had the worst shot accuracy in the Premiership and haven't improved since then), we don't have any goal scoring midfielders. Where will the goals come from? If we were starting the season again and everyone was fit then you could argue Remy, Bobby Z and AJ backed up by Hoillet but we aren't and they haven't been.

Tell you what, van...I'll be walking down South Africa Rd when we play Man United, and I will be as cold about that game, as any I can ever remember.

I'm dumbfounded that so many signings over the past 12 months or so,have failed to perform the way we all wanted and expected.Players like SWP,Bothroyd,Park,Hoilett,Ferdinand,Traore,Bosingw a and to a lesser extent Zamora and Johnson (mainly through injury). They all did reasonably well for their former clubs and I can vividly remember the excitement and anticipation we all felt at the end of the transfer window last year. The days leading up to the signing of Hoilett in particular generated more posts on the WATRB website than ever before or since and his capture was considered quite a coup.Park was great for MU and similarly Bothroyd for Cardiff and Zamora and Johnson for Fulham.Even Cisse and Mackie(our nearly heroes on the last day of last season) are shadows of their former selves.WHERE DID IT ALL GO WRONG ????
From the moment Tony Fernandes and his consortium arrived, the scene was set for us to do a 'Chelski.'
But, hasn't worked out that way at all. Instead, we have been in an almost continual fight against relegation for the last two seasons, and was fortunate to stay up last season, but I fear the game is almost up for our club this time.
We have spent more money in the transfer market than ever before, but almost each and every player has let us down, badly let us down.
I would love to be proved wrong, mate.....But, unless we beat Man Utd, a big, big, ask of this club, we could find ourselves 10 points adrift with only 11 games left, and the next game being at St.Mary's against Southampton, recent conquerors of Manchester City.

My heart keeps telling me we will achieve the great escape, but my head tells me otherwise.

Therefore, not only have I not seen us win since Stoke, but have managed to miss 25% of the goals we've scored at home.
