Good post Dave & same as yourself I've pretty much accepted we're gone. We've won 2 in 26 FFS how the hell are we gonna win 6 in 12? Won't happen.

If Harry does one as expected I wouldn't mind Karl Robinson at MK Dons or preferably Adkins as he knows the score about getting promotions.

Very sad state of affairs & I'm genuinely gutted for our owners but lets not forget they will still be living in their mansions, counting their millions & driving their Bentleys while us lot dig out a living trying to pay to watch these over paid ******s so I won't lose to much sleep over it.

We don't deserve Premiership football & the table will tell you exactly why.

Worse 2 seasons I can remember. B0llox to it!!

I still think Harry will give it a season in the championship,as he said the other night that the year he won it with Pompey was his best time in football

But as we all know Swansea are a good side if you give them time on the ball. I watched the highlights of their game against West Ham and saw that if you press them high and get in their faces, then you've got a chance. But we didn't do this and just allowed them the ball as we dropped back and back and it was inevitable when they got their first goal. There were mistakes all over the pitch by the players. We have a side who can stop other sides playing, but we don't have a side to win games which is what we desperately need. None of the Swansea team are grafters like Mackie and Derry. They all have quality. They are all good on the ball.

Watching Rangers now is like watching a close family member passing away. You have hope they will pull through, but you know deep down they won't. We are dying a slow and painful death, sadly. Recent games have given us false hope. But our demise started 18 months ago. Every big decision the board has had to make we have really ballsed up on. We need to get back to basics. We need to find out as soon as we can which players want to jump ship and which ones will want to help us get back up. We won't stay up now I'm afraid. I am dreading the Championship. I hate that league. I hate the towns we have to visit. I dread to think how we will get on in that league. Our players won't be up for the graft of games every Sat/Tue.

Having been to the forum the other night I really don't think Redknapp will stay, so it leaves the question which manager out there do we get? We will no doubt see some players leave, but we will be stuck with a number of players on big wages who aren't exactly going to listen to a 'small name' manager.

The board need to come up with a strategy how we will proceed. We don't have any idea of what our tactics should be. We buy players at random and just hope they can fit into any old system. Swansea have a system and buy players who will seamlessly fit in.

Nigel Adkins might be worth a shot if he is still available. The next few months are not going to be enjoyable for Rangers fans. I have visions of us being relegated at Fulham and can see Cardiff replacing us. The irony after we basically went up at their place on St George's Day.

I feel for Fernandes as he has given it a real go. His biggest mistake I feel was in some ways the appointment of Beard. Fernandez and Amit have so many business interests around the world that Beard effectively runs the club on a day to day basis. He came across very naive at the Fans Forum and perhaps his appointment showed his naivety of someone with no football experience.

Would just be nice if for one day we could all go to work on a Monday morning having enjoyed 3 points on the weekend. Think it's going to be a good while again before we get that feeling back.
Excellent post, wouldn't mind Di Canio (will sort the players out!) or another young manager ala Adkins or the like. The more experienced ones haven't done much for us!

It's really sad it has come to this as our owners tried their best I think, almost every signing we thought would be good turned into a flop, it's actually unbelievable how things went so wrong, you can't make this stuff up! The Swansea match ended any hope even for the most optimistic of us here, I'm dealing with playing in the Championship next season!

so true. it's slightly soul destroying to have to see us fail every week. its become routine.

agree with a younger manager who can instil a philosophy. time to plan long term and build a strong base; i hope we continue with the plans for the academy. need to be set up like roberto martinez set up swansea

Excellent post from the OP albeit it a very sad indicment of QPRFC.

I popped out for a few beers sat afternoon and rather than go to a bar half hr down the road that shows a few prem games from the dodgy streams i nipped to my local to watch Jeff Stelling and co as to be blunt watching us at the minute is painful. I didnt fancy us at all sat against Swansea but have to admit didnt see the 4-1 scoreline coming.

Have conceded defeat in this endless battle to stay in the prem.

                Excellent OP.

I like TF and I feel sorry for him, but the trouble is that there are too many overseas owners that have no clue how to run a football club. He had the will and intentions but he got it wrong with Hughes & all the money spent. Look at this transfer window, we spent over £20m and the squad is no better off, why? its crazy

He should had stuck with NW and backed him as his transfers targets were more sensible. Players like Naughton, Dervite, Townsend, Sturridge, Austin, Rhodes etc were the plyers he wanted and should had been back IMO.

I really hope it isn't Steve Cotrill as he's no manager, he has a really bad track record, we either need Neil Warnock back, Ian Holloway or Nigel Adkins.

Maybe because one post is an educated and well presented summary of the current situation from a fan that goes week in week out and the other usually ends with "I've destroyed you" and the thread title is something along the lines of "Arry is a liar" - stark contrast in posts. How anybody can be expected to be taken seriously with thread titles like marshys is beyond me

Agree with Hammersmith & Ric- fate is sealed now. Even though we were poor last season I never really accepted we would go down, just always thought we had enough fight to see us through.

Seems weird looking back on the Liverpool, Arsenal, Stoke, Swansea and Spurs results now- could you imagine this team getting those wins? I can't.

This season however, we have no fight whatsoever. We go down and it will be deserved.

One thing though, I felt like this on the way back from Blackburn last season, so maybe there is still a chance???

But that is kinda what we thought we were doing with Hughes. Problem is, everywhere along the way the last year or two we have thought we were going about things the right way more or less but whatever we try it doesn't work: we go for stability rather than sacking the manager, that doesn't work. we try spending money rather than bargain basement buys, that doesn't work, we bring in harry the great motivator, that doesn't work. for reasons i don't understand, our club seems destined to fail.

It makes you think, even if by some incredible miracle we stay up- will we just go through this all over again next year?

You what!!!:rage: Have you ever had a close family member pass away? Thats a bloody insult. How the hell can you begin to compare watching a close family member die to QPR not doing very well!!!!!!!!!!!!! You need to get things in perspective pdq. I lost both my parents within eighteen months of each other and I'll tell you what, it was nothing like watching QPR doing badly I can assure you, and I'm sure everybody else who has lost parents or close relatives would feel the same! Think a bit of growing up is needed for you sonny!! Rant over!!!.....for now!:rage:
