It boils down to the fact that the team isn't good enough, there is no team spirit and no togetherness.

It isn't BR fault by far, but in fact TF. I really like TF but his biggest mistake was sacking NW too quickly.

Swansea was pretty brutal on Saturday, but in reality the fundamentals haven't changed much since Hughes left IMO and Cesar's saves have covered over the same old problems.

Individuals- We are not a team and we haven't been all season- this won't change before May.
Stlye- We don't have a style of play, we never impose ourselves on the game. Again, this won't suddenly change.
Playing to our strenghts-Tarbs isn't a false 9. Against City, Chelsea, Spurs I can see the logic in this, but not against Swansea, WHU etc. We do have some strengths, just never bloody use them.
Have a go- Why Why Why do we never just have a go and take the game to the other team?? Start with a high tempo and get players forward. This is without doubt the thing that frustrates me the most. We're not playing Barca every week- what's the worst thing that can happen? We loose or draw, which is what we always do anyway.
Overly Cautious- Probably due to use leaking so many soft goals earlier in the season, but now it seems as if we pitch up and just pray we'll get to 90 minutes at 0-0.
Defending- We're just too easy to open up. Put us under sustained pressure for 5-10 mins and we will concede.
Attacking- Awful all season- far far too much reliance on Taarabt to create. Such hard work watching us labour through games with zero attacking ideas.
Transfer Windows- 4 good signings out of 16 probably?!

I think after watching MOTD again i've realised that it's beyond us this year. We're 6 points off where we were at this stage last season and we will be fortunate to win 3 more games at a push. I also think we'll be 9 points off after next weekend.

Also, we need to stop all this **** about ''we have 10 winnable games coming up'' and ''it would be typical QPR to go and beat Utd''... every team we play views us as 3 points, we are every teams winnable game. Also, we're not 'typical QPR' anymore, we're a bunch of individuals who will go their own ways in the summer.

I'm usually the most optimistic fan but I can't see anything other than finishing bottom now. The fans that throw all the s*** and negativity at the club week in week out will get what they want and have years of us being awful in the Champiponship and League 1 again.

Alternatively, we beat United on Sunday and go on a run and stay up by the skin of our teeth again.

All you Harry beaters out there need to understand that if Remy and Zamora are not fit, what decent optons does he have.
Would someone out there like to add up the combined appearances and number of goals scored by the following players this season, Mbia, Granero, Daikite, Derry, Park, SWP, Faurlin, DJ, Bothroyd, Hoilett. Probably about 6/7 goals in about 150 games between them. Not hard to see where our problems are. Is that Harry's fault.
Tarbs, Mackie, Bz haven't fared much better.
Harry desperately tried to sign several strikers in the window or are we thinking he didn't bother. FFS we even had players wantng to join sitting outsde the bulding.
Let's also blame Harry for Adel's weak penalty shall we?

I'm not saying it is Redkanpp's fault- he inherited an awful awful squad and it is the players letting him down.

They are beatable (by others) and I admire your optimism, but if you supported any other team and were looking at us, would you be saying the same?

We will go for the draw against Utd and end up loosing.

Well there is hope and we aren't relegated just yet, March & April has a lot of points to play for, strange things do happen in football ;-)

Have played all season without any sort of team spirit and that showed in our results. Thanks to Sparky getting rid of Gorkks ,Smith, Helguson, Kenny and Connolly. The loan of Hill and the complete shun of Derry must have sucked away any sort of unity in the team. Arguably many of those players did/would have struggled with the step up in league but there must have been a better way to improve our squad by adding to the faces that got us promoted in the first place rather then a mass overhaul. Just look at Southampton, Norwich and Swansea who kept much of the promotion winning squads which although are not the most technically gifted teams they kept a great team spirit which is something it seems money cannot buy, despite our best efforts. Maybe a season in the championship will re-establish that for us. Personally don't blame Harry he bought what he could sure he tried to bring in more. Players can be a bit reluctant to join a team adrift at the bottom of the league with only two wins. He inherited a complete train wreck and it was always going to be a miracle if we stayed up. See people writing "if we win 5 or more games we might stay up" bottom line is we are awful and have only won TWO games all season. The fat lady is warming up her vocals.....

Good post that Dalton and hard to disagree with much of that. But, being pedantic, wasn't it Warnock that flogged Gorkks?

                            The players available against Swansea:

Zamora as a starter. If he gets tired - Bothroyd.

Granero in midfield together with Jenas and Derry

Taarabt not as a lone striker, he should play "in the hole"

Mbia together with Samba as CB

                            Mackie and Townsend as wingers

                            You´re welcome.

your comments are pretty much on the money
sometimes a step back helps you go forwards quicker and making mistakes are not a crime, we've all made them, not learinng from them is a crime and I hope we do learn from this shambles
from a morale point of view, most of our weekends are miserable and winning games, albeit at a lower level, wouldn't be a such a bad thing
before anyone comes on, I'm not being negative just can't see us gettng out of it

                                Swede-

Agree we should have started with either Bothroyd or Bobby.

Granero needs a run of games but HR clearly doesnt rate him. I'd have him and M'bia in the middle with Tarbs behind a forward and Townsend and SWP wide.

I'm starting to realise that regardless of who we play or what team we go with, we'll still be absolutely dire.
