Hughes got us in to trouble but Harry took us down....
Shocking tactics...shocking team selections.....couldn`t clear the air with Cisse....didn`t have a plan B-C regarding a new striker in the january window....
Is this a joke? 4 points from 13 games or whatever it was wasn't Harry's fault was it? Hughes tried to play open football against Swansea, got spanked 5-0 and that was the end of it. Harry tried to keep us compact since he's come in, in order to rack up a few points and get us closer to the pack, there was no point going gung ho from the outset and being even further behind. Hughes is ENTIRELY to blame in my eyes; poor signings, a shocking start to the season and awful tactics. I felt that we were unsavable after he'd done the damage, getting a team that hadnt won for 20-odd games to become world beaters was impossible.
Yesterday had an all too familiar look about it. The players played like a bottom of the league club as they have in most games of the season.
Blaming formations or tactics is just making excuses for the players.

Agreed, BUT,We arnt ever going to stay up ,if were cant muster an attack at home to Norwich. , away to Swansea , this is all well and good away to Chelsea or at home to City but these tactics all the time are whats helped to take us down.
Didnt we score a goal at Swansea, had a nailed on penalty refused, shot cleared of the line and unluckily hit the crossbar with the keeper beaten all ends up?
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
Mate , we sat back with our clueless defense conceding goal after goal , making one error after another , with no attacking option ,especially in the first half, on offer at all . If you think we were unlucky , you saw a different game to me

Yep. And if we hadn't missed the penalty, they had no defenders and we missed the crossbar, we might have got a draw.
TF's biggest mistake was trusting tactically inept english managers who are unable to really win us a game with their decisions. hughes tried but failed miserably, and harry epitomizes the English 'get stuck in, run around a lot, see what happens' mentality
add to the fact we have NEVER had sufficient depth in the squad. and our love of signing free agent big names on high wages.
i honestly think TF has just been taken for a ride by agents since he took over. harsh lesson, but he's essentially been conned.
