  • We have still got..

    To play the following...

Sunderland, Wigan, Villa, Saints, Reading, Newcastle, Fulham and Stoke

Yes I know we are 7 points adrift, but the gap is no bigger really...

We are nearly coming into our run of games that will decide whether we will stay up...

Beat some of these then you stay up.

Beat Reading and you gain three on them and they dont go no further... same for Villa and Wigan.

    Still the same position

The more I read the forum the more all I think about is this...

We have a huge run soon....

If we lose them then begin to moan etc

what makes you think we have a chance against those teams based on our performances so far?

I'm in the camp we can stop the better sides from playing if we have a goal of just closing up shop.. chelsea, city, spurs etc.

Once the onus is on us to attack we fall straight away.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
      Lovejoy: "No?!"

haha - I just think we may, I am also very very positive. And I feel that this is the only real run of games that Harry has had.

Swansea is a very hard game, just look where they are in the league. Not to mention a cup final...... (Europe next year...)

I will never give up until its offically over, I know we are the worst team by far but we have a chance and strange things do happen in football.

It starts against Man Utd, they are beatable and we can do it.

Incredibly optimistic to think we will get any sort of run between now and the end of the season. Swansea was the first nail in the coffin IMO.

A team who will be in Europe next year. A point is all we could have expected.

My view isn't that were too far adrift, but that we are so bad I can't see us winning. We have won 2 games all season so it's hard to believe we are going to suddenly get 5 or 6

I said back in late November that we wouldn't win 10 games this season. I have now revised that and think we will win at most 5 games.

Without Cesar we would be down already.

                      Well they are....

Sadly, this year they are a top team

The league doesnt lie, that and the fact they are in a cup final.

BUT - we must face facts.

Swansea have been on the up since they came up.

They play good football and even in thier first season they did superb

I do admire your optimism. But being an older miserable git, it is clear to me that if all we expect is a point, then that is the best outcome we will get.

If we were a little bit more adventurous, played a more settled team and players performed to anywhere close to their potential, I am pretty sure we would have won more than 2 games.

2 games FFS? Words can't describe how let down I feel by this shower.
