I love Harry Redknapp, and despite the fact we got thrashed yesterday, he has sorted out our defence - so he deserves credit for that. But as for the attacking side of our game, he hasn't improved it one bit. He continues to play Mackie, who never gets into the box when players like Towsend, Traore, Fabio and Taarabt put the ball in dangerous areas. The only way we look like scoring is if the likes of Taarabt or Towsend have a shot from outside the box!
Redknapp clearly has no faith in Bothroyd, despite the fact that he has scored 2 goals in 3 games since he came back. Surely Bothroyd deserves to start if Remy's not fit! He's a big boy and will get into the box. We all know Zamora can't play a full game so why not play Bothroyd upfront for a half, and have five in midfield so we can have more possession in games. I love Mackie's effort, and he could make an impact as a substitute, but he can't play a full game upfront on his own! I'm surprised Redknapp hasn't noticed something so obvious!
