  • Scary thing is

Looking at this side/squad if we do manage to stay up in all honesty this squad needs a complete rebuild in comparison to our comparitors.

When you look what the likes of Southampton and Swansea are getting out of their players (Alot of them unknown) then look at how we struggle week after week with the basics throw ins, corners, basic short passing, playing with energy its frightening how far behind we are.

I dont expect 11 players of Messi or Ronaldos ability but the basics like throwing a ball to your own man every player or every ability should be able to do that surely.

The amout of times in the first half Ceser played the ball short and we played ourselves into trouble defied belief. I have never got my head round why a keeper when he can kick it long from the dead ball gives it to a defender who gets shut down and gives it back to him so he can just then kick it long with the attacker trying to charge it down, again another sign of basics not being down right

The 5th Squad rebuild in two years is coming up (Whatever division we are in) there lies the problem

The last 2 years are the exact model of how not to perform as a club when you go up to the Prem.

Eyes bigger then out bellies. I place a large proportion of blame on Hughes and flavio. After promotion we were not given the right opportunity to build correctly and since then everything we have done has been reactive not proactive. You could argue that flavios stance cost us the best manager he certainly was deprived of a fair crack.

Whatever the outcome of this season it's time to put structure and stability in place and take charge of our destiny instead of living transfer window to window

wests i cringe at the deadline day circus we've become....everyone conected with the club shoulders some of the blame.....but the fact we never looked closer to home for players with long term commitment is shocking!

It all went down hill once Warnock left. And kron-1664 your right - we are the exact model of how not to perform as a club when you go up to the Premier League

More frightening is that's needed even if (when) we go down

For the FIFTH transfer window in a row we need a huge overhaul
This one is a massive task
We need committed men who give 200%
They need to do this knowing there's wasters in the squad not playing but earning triple
The squad needs to be a good age
Players need to be assembled EARLY not feeding the Sky TV 11pm frenzy

Do we have a CEO up to that task?

No.... But he's a thoroughly nice chap who knows how to build big concert halls
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.
