I also admire those who can remain positive, but in order to be persuaded to join them, I would like someone to point out what is going to change, that will get us at least another 6 wins. And then maybe, explain why there have been no signs of it yet, what exactly are they waiting for? It's not as if we haven't had the opportunities since Harry took over. The last few games, we have been getting worse and worse, saved only by Cesar's heroics for the most part, not Harry's defensive genius. We need goals, not 0-0 draws. Our team is a disgrace, which is why so many people feel let down.
I know that, and i'm not saying i expect us to win them, but they are games we can win. We may not have got many wins this season, but there have been plenty of games we should've won, but thrown them with stupid errors or by lacking a cutting edge, Readin, Everton, Villa, Spurs away to name a few... ironically, most were when Hughes was in charge.

I just hope with Remy in the side we may see a change, and as said, it may be or seem unlikely, but it could only take 1 to create a bit of momentum into the next, and where as wins or points againyt higher teams may be good, you end up demoralised if thise around you win or draw so you make no ground up or even lose ground as we had recently despite some good results. If however, you win against sides around you, you see instant reward by the gap closing. That in itself could act as a massive motivator.

All i'm saying is lets just wait and see what happens..... Flip side is one or two could beat us and it's literally all over.

At some pointy in a relegation season all fans realize it is over, that is different for different people. If we need everyone else to lose 10-0 and us to win by 5 on the last day - are we spineless cowards then? Will you still believe? Or will you be a spineless coward? Obviously it is a ridiculous scenario, but each fan will find their own point of no return - hardly makes them a coward. In fact there is nothing brave about being a football fan at all - so get over yourself.

I honestly believe we can still do it, based on nothing but hope and looking at the matches we have coming up after United. I also think we didn't deserve a 4-1 reverse at the weekend, we did first half but second half we were the better side but once again missed good openings and had a blatant pen missed again.

Obviously you don't remember us beating Palace at home 6-0 on the last day then.

Not sure what you mean by 'get over yourself'. Seems an odd term but never mind.

Ok, we can agree to disagree. I still say we're in with a shout. Others can stick to their view that we're down, although the maths say different.

Its not the fact that we disagree over whether we`re doomed to relegation or not ,thats got up peoples noses, its the fact you have called everyone spineless cowards ,who thinks we are , you dont seem to get it.

Exactly this from me n all. I think Richards one of the better posters tbf but the "spineless cowards" was way OTT when it's being aimed at some proper fans that go week in week out.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Oh but I do 'get it'. Some people, not all, have run up the white flag already and have stated as fact we have been relegated. The fact is, we have not been relegated. There are still 12 games to go and 36 points to play for. It is still possible to avoid going down.

It is negative, weak, and a lie to say we've been relegated when we haven't. People should stop spreading that lie. Yes, things look very bad for us, but the simple fact is, we have NOT been relegated yet.

I agree with what you're saying, as will many, but it's your terminology that has annoyed people. Use terms like defeatist, pessimist, negative, premature, jumping the gun, doom monger, glass half empty, already beaten etc etc etc, rather than calling fans spineless cowards.

Well I hope some fans take a long hard look at themselves and see how negative they've been for weeks.

Looked long and hard Richard. Been negative for weeks and getting more and more so after every further episode of poor team selection and tactics by the manager, along with some dreadful displays by the majority of the players, who to be fair, don't appear to be creating widespread hope and enthusiasm amongst the fan base.

You are right of course, we are not down yet.

In fact we might not get relegated at all because, for all we know, the world might end tomorrow.

                                You're quite safe

I think it is correct to say you THINK we'll go down, because we haven't actually been relegated yet. Go back to the back end of last season when we won five home games in a row. I'm not saying it will happen again, but we did it then, why not again?

It's still possible to stay up.
