What really gets on my nerves are those who have totally given up supporting the team this season, people who say that they wont go next season simply because this season has been so poor (nb these people are not necessarily just on this message board). You might have given up on our chances of survival, but I haven't. I still remain optimistic we can get out of trouble, but please do not state false facts that we are down. Unlike some of the spineless cowards we have as so-called supporters. Every one of you who have already 'accepted' relegation should hang your heads in shame. We aren't done yet. We haven't been relegated yet, and while there's still a chance, however remote, we need to keep believing we can stay up.
If the fans have given up, why do you think the players shouldn't be any different? If so-called fans, people who profess to love our club, have lost the will to continue the struggle, why do you think the players should be bothered either? Some of you people seem to want us to go down so you can brag 'I told you so', or to say ' I knew we were down after we played so-and-so'. Remember, players feed off the fans feedback. They play well when we sing their praises, and they play badly when they're given stick. Half of you lot are probably going to games with the negative attitude you're showing here, so naturally you're going to see a negative performance on the pitch. What do you expect?
I for one am not giving up hope until it's official. I will continue to keep the faith and support the club I love, and I refuse to run up the white flag with so many points left to play for.
The surrender monkeys have a choice: either stay away from games with your negative attitude, or get behind the team and support it to the bitter end. The team needs its fans more than ever before, not weak cowardly wimps.
It's up to you.Last edited by Yousef; 12-02-2013, 05:36 AM.QPR fan since1987

I would say I admire your optimism but I don't as I think it's misplaced and a bit silly if am honest.... And very disrespectful to those who have already worked out our fate.... Blimey surely it's doesn't take a great deal to work out this lot won't keep us up.... A team who have won the paltry sum of 2 league games all season and you seriously believe we can win at least half of the remaining matches we have this season?
Seriously, take a long hard think and you be honest with yourself and come back on here and then regurgitate that tripe you posted earlier and I won't believe you'd stick by it for any other reason than you don't want to be seen to have to do a complete U-Turn.....
I along with every other fan no doubt want us to win every game but alas that ain't gonna happen.... Yeah of course we'll cheer and get excited when the time is right but also alas, there ain't been much to get excited about watching the R's this season no matter who was at the helm.... The team are just not good enough in general... They are certainly not good enough to be able to adapt to Harry et al's tactics and ideas so face facts old bean and be as shocked as the rest of us if.... IF...... Well, I won't elaborate and waste too much effort in even contemplating the fanciful idea that we won't be playing Championship football next season.....:(

In fact sometimes when all hope looks lost, players almost play with a bit more freedom and things start to happen. Look at Wigan last year... everyone, and i mean everyone, had them as certs to go down at one point with about 10 games to go. They were adrift, had upcoming games with Utd and high flying Newcastle at home, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool away, surely it was inevitable and there was no hope..... we all know what happened. They ended up playing with no fear, almost a resignation of their fate and started getting results and won 7 out of the last 9 and ended up 15th.
Football's crazy so never write off any possibility, while it's still poossible, even if not probable. We have games coming up we can win, and if Remy comes back fit and fresh, why not.... win one, get confidence we could win back to back, and then the cat would be among the pigeons if we were only 2 / 3 / 4 points behind with a game against one of our close rivals to come.....

Richard , who are you to call people " cowardly wimps "and to stay away from Loftus Rd ? Stupid comments like that negate your whole point .
I wish i had your optimism , i genuinely do .
There is nothing to suggest were going to even make a half hearted attempt to get out of this,i`m afraid.
No one would be happier than me if i`m wrong.Last edited by vespa; 12-02-2013, 03:02 AM.Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and Trainers

I also admire those who can remain positive, but in order to be persuaded to join them, I would like someone to point out what is going to change, that will get us at least another 6 wins. And then maybe, explain why there have been no signs of it yet, what exactly are they waiting for? It's not as if we haven't had the opportunities since Harry took over. The last few games, we have been getting worse and worse, saved only by Cesar's heroics for the most part, not Harry's defensive genius. We need goals, not 0-0 draws. Our team is a disgrace, which is why so many people feel let down.

There are some people here who remain optimistic we can stay up, others who state as fact we are down. Whilst I fully accept things look very bad for us, we've got 12 games left to save ourselves. We haven't been relegated yet, and I wish people would stop saying it's already happened. It hasn't. If supporters have already thrown in the towel, should the players as well? To me it seems hypocritical to condemn the club to relegation yet expect players to perform heroics to win our remaining games.
Excuse me while I continue to cheer the team on and believe we can stay up, even if some others have surrendered. Fair play to the lads who still believe, I'm sorry so many others have given up.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

My take on it, is that we are not down but look likely to go down.
Football is a strange game, look at Man utd collapse last year, Newcastle under Keegan gifting the title to man utd, man city's dramatic title win , our own great escape last year plus the great escapes of others that have littered the premiership before us. We are not say 15 points adrift but we are in deep deep trouble but a month of things going our way could change matters.
As said unlikely we stay up especially with the poor players we have and all the other teams around us look stronger, we really do deserve the title of whipping boys but I've still got some hope left, admittedly very little, maybe now the pressures off the team as we are resigned to relegation may slightly help us, I don't know. The one thing however about supporting us is that we aren't a normal club, slightly radio rental.
If we wanted a stable well run club we wouldn't all be QPR fans.
Every so often the club surprises us, when you think things can't get worse they do or when you don't see any hope, amazingly the club surprises us.
Not holding my breath but if any club can turn things round from such an awful predicament, it would be jokers like us.

Richard - hardly worthy of insulting fellow Rs just because they have a different opinion.
At some pointy in a relegation season all fans realize it is over, that is different for different people. If we need everyone else to lose 10-0 and us to win by 5 on the last day - are we spineless cowards then? Will you still believe? Or will you be a spineless coward? Obviously it is a ridiculous scenario, but each fan will find their own point of no return - hardly makes them a coward. In fact there is nothing brave about being a football fan at all - so get over yourself.
