Finally, we get a win!
It certainly was not pretty but thankfully our 1 goal was enough! Once again we had more than enough chances to kill the game but all the usual suspects missed their chances. Simpson missed 2 really good chances and Vine missed a sitter when Helguson laid it off.
Against a better side we would have been punished for sure.
It was great to see Connolly in his proper position and have a good game! What a surprise, he plays and we keep a clean sheet! That's 3 games for him this season and 3 wins..............I hope you noticed Magilton............all the fans can!
Hogan and Faurlin I felt were good but seemed to get tired towards the end.
I know I am not a big fan of Hall but he had a good game, I just wished he had the same composure on the ball as Connolly as he always resorts to launching the ball! He made one great overhead clearance near the end when they looked as if they were gonna score!
Had a quick chat with Simpson at the end and welcomed him to Rangers. He said he has enjoyed it so far and wants to start scoring goals for us!
I was impressed with Gary Hooper for them. He had great movement and I think a player like him in our side would do very well. Go on Gianni, make a move! He wouldn't cost a lot!
Great banter on the coach back with everyone. Just typical we have an international break now!
