I did. As expected Phil Beard did not have any idea about it. But he's now got the details and hopefully he's a man of his word and he will follow it up. I don't think he understood that QPR is a local club. Our support is very much West London based. If you don't immerse yourself in the local community then you have no hope for the future with any long term plans. Many of the children in this particular school which is in the borough on our door step are in our Academy playing for our Junior sides! What must they think if a QPR player is promised for a successive year and does not bother turning up. Might may think that player to play somewhere else.We are in a big catchment area for future talent. He mentioned the good things that QPR do in the local community which I don't dispute. They made a big thing over Christmas about the players' visit to the Jack Tizzard School behind the away end. It's great what they do there, but the reason all the players turn up there is because the club use their playground on match days for car parking for the players. Part of the agreement about being allowed to park there. Not exactly immersing yourself full throttle in all the big state schools on our door step where our future fans and players will come from!

Wow... I agree 100% with you and it's very important for our club to keep in touch with our younger fans. The impression I get from the new board is that they want to bring in new supporters, one of the ideas must be to go into local schools, well hope it is anyway.

All I know is that this should never happen again now that Phil knows about it.

You need to know your history.

The fans tonight are the ones who go week in and week out. They are totally within their right to ask what they want. QPR is more than a club on a Saturday afternoon. We should never lose sight of where we come from.
Fair enough. My apologies. It was just that I thought some of the questions a tad parochial. The facilities in Ellerslie are medieval, but that's because the ground's medieval. If I got a chance to ask questions of that panel I wouldn't ask them about the wretched toilets. Folk are, I recognize, entitled to ask their own questions so I certainly withdraw my thoughtless comment.

cheers for that rangers 77...i help run the away travel and was one of the first on the pitch v man city, to stop us being "fulham park rangers" and later the lsa stopped us moving to mk....
we raise money etc for club causes and try to engage with the club.
many seem unhappy with the lsa, my suggestion is try our bar in the bok, try an away game on a coach.....judge for yourself.
many members are life long rangers fans, some are young, we have quite a few ladies and want to build a good rapport with qpr, fans groups and mbs and fanzines.
as for the "Lsa" IT'S either loyal supporters association or as some once said "large stomach assoc...." lol

"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

My stream kept stopping, I missed the bit about what would happen if we went down. What did they say about that and are we going to try to come straight back up?

yes..PB ....going down changes nothing....we work to come up as soon as poss....players not on anything like what reports say...3 strands to the plan....prem stability, the stadium, training and academy.
all eventualities prepared and planned for...long term comittment...all the board have a passion for the club...quote TF paraphrased.."its a shame i keep having to leave the club to make money to put into it"..
PB tony loves it......Harry..."if it happens and we get promoted that will be a great feeling"..
harrys reference to it being the boards decision if he stays is natural fact...he seemed up for it.....we'd still be a club on the up if we went down...Harry like to be close to home....

we all have opinions and thats why there are these mbs
i was gonna jump in but you did say sorry and cheers
we are all qpr and CARE.....it's our club.
the lsa don't have all the answers but keep trying and usually either match the osc coach or take more....to join we have a facebook page with paypal details or pop into the bok, we have a door by the side and the bar is downstairs...the football is now on..we hope to run 2 coaches to saints and villa ( details to follow)
i think the fanzines and mbs do a great job cos they keep distant fans in touch and even if we moan, bitch, kiss and cuddle it's all for qpr.
