I agree with you on that point, and am also of the opinion that Marshy should not have been banned for something so benign.

Just a gentle ribbing, and a suggestion that the subject of name calling is probably something that you should perhaps steer clear of. Help yourself though.

      • I understand that it's a totting up of several minors, but it's still a shame. He'd been good value, if a little self-involved and needy recently

        • Tarrabt is the one common denominator in the last two seasons of struggle. Because he has no natural position in any team we have tried to accommodate him resulting in a woefully slow build up and movement, as well as having limited numbers in the box.

You can throw all tje stats around you want but the most obvious is what you see each week, a team who are bottom of the league and cant score. So many question why the likes of Reading and Southampton score more goals with inferior players, well they attack as a team and with pace.

The point is that we see the game through the eyes of fans. Fans are emotionally involved, passionate, have their favourite players and players they hate. They are also influenced by the atmosphere around them. There can be matches where everyone around me in the W Paddock thought someone had had a great game, only for my mates in the loft to say everyone in their area thought he was terrible.

Stats are a way of getting beyond our opinions and biases. Adel has created 4th most chances in the whole league this season.

              • YOu're quite right about the team play at Reading and Southampton. I'd add Swansea and WBA as two other good examples.

But I don't think you can pin our lack of this down to Adel. He'd be fine playing in a team with good movement around him. Look at our other players! Do you really think Jamie Mackie can start playing like a James Morrison or an Adam Lallana? Playing like that as a team takes months of work on the training ground with a settled squad., and we are miles off. Have we scored a decent team goal this season? Until that point, I'll happily take one of the most creative individual players in the league

                • Mackie one of our best players?! Jesus wept I reckon I can do more kick ups than him.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

                  • Time to move him on and build a proper team, one man teams only cut it in the Premier League if they have the ability of a Bale, Ronaldo or Messi.

                    • Yesterday everytime Adel got on the ball he stopped and turned back towards his goal the one time he carried it forwards we scored.

His strength is running at teams he needs to do it more often as he will get shots off and win free kicks around the box

Because he should have passed the ball more. but that should have been practised in training. To me, he is more than a singlesculler. Have seen glimpses of him where he has been a great team-player aswell.

It's a pity others with rosé tinted specs can't see it mate, totally agree
