Do you prefer Derry, Mackie, Hoilet, SWP and co? They are truly dreadful and why we are bottom. I am sure plenty will tell me how good Derry is...look forward to it, but he is slow and useless and was missing headers by 4 feet v Norwich.
    Best post yet.

Not saying he is perfect, far from it, but you take Tarbs out of our team and we have 0 creativity. We would be so much worse off without him ATAF. I think the fact people single him out so much when he does something wrong, ie the penalty miss, shows exactly how much we rely on him. If he doesn't perform, we don't. The fact our only 2 wins were both inspired by him (near enough single handedly won the Foolham game for us and set up SWP with a lovely touch vs Chelski) says it all.

The miss against City was actually a good save from Englands #1, and the penalty miss was his 1st for us, I believe.
I do agree his dead ball delivery is often not good enough, although I recall Samba getting his head on a corner of two last week, one of which was cleared off the line ?
      BUT,
Can anyone nominate a player for us this season, or last, or before who has been more consistant going forward, with greater vision, more assists, created more opportunities (taken or wasted), scored better more spectacular goals and improved his team work play ?
If not, I'll take this debate as a wind up.....

      Just my opinion.

didn't he score a great free-kick against Spurs last season? But I know what you mean. Taarabt tries his hardest and we should appreciate him. He clearly hates losing and he clearly cares

not knocking any player in the teambut as the team develop i hope adel will grow to his full potential. he needs complete quality arround him.
          a. to make the most of his moves
          b. to perhaps reel in some of his young mans pride and be a little less 'selfish'(wrong word but you know what i mean)
if we can just make it to the next transfer window (i'm joking and serious at the same time)

Agree with your post - dont think its a wind up though - the OP has a history of down-beat posting. This is just another!

Don't forget Stoke? Should've scored went for the the big spectacular and missed an easy chance.I think Adel is one of the most gifted. Individuals I've seen play for us but my god he has a lot of flaws too! poor dead all delivery? Doesn't pass to players in better positions ( and does this quite often) a flawed genius and can be very frustrating? when watching within 30 seconds of a game you could see the brilliance and the very worst of Taarabt?

He is like a 50's illusionist who makes some see things that are not there.

There is no doubt he has ability, but he lacks application, his little speeches mean nothing when he doesn't compete for a header for the 10th time (Norwich) and clearly isn't fit enough. Step overs and little tricks mean nothing if they don't create anything. All these Tarrabt fans go on about how much he creates and that its wasted by other players give me some examples. I am certain he has been more wasteful than anyone.

Also try to speak to anyone in football (not the Rangers PR machine to big him up) and they will tell you he is not massively rated, hence no real interest in taking him by any team in the Worlds top leagues.

Legend in his own, and some on here's mind.

Laughable hwo some people dismiss his contribution to the side. Over the last 3 years been far & away our best player.

Anyway, it's something you can debate until the cows come home, people will always have divided opinions.

I'm sure though, we won't know what we have in Adel until he goes - then we will realise how much he contributed.

He wont be the only creative player anymore....we have townsend that looked jolly clever on the ball. Jenas looked like he could 'hit a mackie on the ass cheek' from 30 yards from a set piece.

And last but not least we have the..........................MIGHTY SAMBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA >>>>>>>>>>BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!

thats the last time in going to do that.

I bet you can't wait till we get relegated so you can bang on about how bad harry is. A ridiculous post about Taarabt and you can't help but dig Harry out.

Some people must watch different games to me. Taarabt is one of the best players I've seen down rangers in 30 odd years.

One of the most skilful players but nowhere near one of our best

This. Albeit needing to swap the 30 odd years for 17 odd years

Can't deny your'e right but unfortunately there so many on here that belong to the mododon crew they seem to take a delight in always looking for doom and gloom ,
