After the Man Utd game we will be so far cut adrift that we will practically be relegated. I can seriously see some off our players throwing in the towel by the Southampton match as Arry continues his damage limitation exercise which protects his reputation by the end of the season...where by he can shrug his shoulders and basically tell everyone there was not much else he could've done...yeah right!!!

We need 4 Pts from the next 2 games otherwise its curtains

People have been saying this since November and we're still not down...

Why is it? What if we beat Swansea then lose to Utd - and Reading Wigan Soton & Villa lose? Looking at this weekends' fixtures there's a good chance they'll all lose. Granted it's all "what ifs" - but hardly curtains. We could be 3 pts off safety after this weekend and all of a sudden it's anybodys game again.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Wigan beat United last year when they looked to be in control of the league - so why not us this time round? If Adel had lifted that ball over Hart we may have beaten City so let's go one better against United

Because we will probably be 8/9 Pts off the pace come the start of march, pretty straight forward really

Makes me laugh everyone waiting on this run off 'easier' matches like a miracle is gonna happen

Most likely scenario is we reach march with 2 wins under a belt all season which quite frankly means only one thing to any normal person unless you are a QPR fan living in cloud cookoo land

Like I said, end of March is our limit... If we're still bottom 3 then, (as much as I dont want it) it's Championship next season I reckon. After the Utd game we have only 5 home games left, we won our last 5 last season to stay just 4th from bottom. We're bottom, we need an amazing last third of the season! With only 1 home win this season so far, we're far worse off than we were. Too many home draws have all but killed us off...

                  I do still hope though...

Again, it's only a probably, nothing is set in stone.

Nobody knows what's going to happen: we could be woeful and end up relegated in March or we could hit a superb run of form and survive - nobody knows. It's simply a case of how you chose to view it: optimistically and have hope or pessimistically and whinge about it. Not that either is a right or wrong way of viewing it, but pretty sure nobody is "living in cookoo land" simply for refusing to believe we are relegated when we're 6 points off and have 13 games to go.

I was just pointing out that we don't have any "big boys" after the Man U game unlike the others just above us. We have to take advantage of it, and I really think we have spent big based on this.

did it also make you laugh last season, when we had a terrible run in and some on here thought we could get the points required to stay up?

Never regarded our run in as terrible so your point is lost on me

I'm a realist we are **** we've won 2 games all season because we are simply not good enough. We are 6 points adrift now off the top my head we were 5 Pts adrift when Hughes was sacked. Parking the bus is not progress, Redknapp is choosing the easy option , when he took over he thought we had a talented squad , all off a sudden it's not his fault the squad ain't good enough!!! Then he weren't gonna spend big , next thing you know he is spunking £20 million and what will this achieve....IMO nothing. He wasted the transfer window , brought a couple of flash arry signings in but never addressed the problem areas. Remy I tell you now is not the answer even if fit there is something about this signing that fills with no confidence.

I'm sorry we are down if we are not in touching distance by the end of Feb. We are really talking about a miracle on the scale of biblical proportions if we take the sort of points from March and April some fans seem to think we could.

                              why not view it realisticly
