Who to keep/sell if we go down

Reading through the other ...if we go down thread.. the conversation got somehow to what might have happened this season if this and that had happened. Here is my take on which players should be sold/kept - the aim is to bounce straight back. There will be a lot of different opinions.

These seems to be the players in and around the first team – 45 is the total
GK: Green, Murphy, César, Lennox, Cerný
DF: Traoré, Samba, Hill, Yun , Onuoha, Bosingwa, Fábio , Ben Haim, Ehmer, Harriman , Ferdinand , Young, Magri
MF: Diakité, Derry, Park, Taarabt, Wright-Phillips, Granero, Jenas, Ephraim, Hoilett, Townsend , Mbia, Sutherland , Faurlín , Andrade , Doughty, Barton
FW: Johnson, Mackie, Rémy, Zamora, Bothroyd, Campbell, Cissé , Hulse , Balanta, Hewitt, Hitchcock

GK: Sell Cesar and release Cerny
DF: Sell Samba, Bozingwa and Ferdinand. Fabio goes back but should be signed.
MF: Sell Taarabt, Wright Phillips, Barton, Ephraim, Andrade, Granero (would like to keep),Townsend goes back but should be signed
FW: Sell Remy, Cisse, Hulse, Balanta, Hewitt

We could have this team playing – not bad IMO

Very much doubt Fabio would sign for us or be loaned again. Expect him to feature for Man U in the next season or two. TF was also clear that Samba stays whatever our fate. Also doubt we will sign Townsend as he is highly thought of at Spuds.

we should keep as many of the cream as poss,why shouldnt they give us 1 season in the champs,the tankers owe us it i feel.

Keeping Towsend would be a challenge. Hope at least we get him on loan for the whole season!

I have a sneaky feeling Taarabt would stay. Don't know why, but just have a feeling he would be the one who wants to carry us back.

Isnt Cerny retiring at the end of this season?

Would seriously worry, given their current injury problems let alone the past, if we went into next season with Zamora and Johnson as our strike force.

we should try to keep all that we think are good...no settling for the championship....(what a stupid name for the 2nd division)

Remy and Cesar would be sold off...the rest should stay. They are worth f'all (apart from Samba).

i think taarabt would either stay with us or go abroad. Can't see him at another PL club. I honestly think he is missing the final piece to be an 'Amazing Great top top' player anyway.
