  • I believe our fans will play a huge part in whether we survive or not!!!

The way we get behind the team or not could be worth quite a few points to us in this run in. Last season we as fans had a massive impact by getting behind the team which really lifted us to get 3pts in matches we weren't expected to. For example 0-2 down to Liverpool and we come back and win 3-2, beating Arsenal, Spuds, Stoke and Swansea and certainly the 1-0 home win against skum.

What i see happening this season is much more negative and i believe this has had an impact on some of our results. The constant booing of certain players and booing others when they give the ball away. All this adds up to draining the confidence of the players, putting extra pressure on them and making them NOT want the ball. In certain games our fans have been great but now more than ever we have to unite and really be a 12th man until the end of the season. Just realistically look at our last 6 home games. 5 of those are very very winnable if we go for it and we as fans give it everything and totally back the team. Thats 15 points!!! And also if we beat Arsenal and get into them like last year then theres 16 or 18 pts to be had.

    SAT 9 MAR Sunderland
    SAT 16 MAR Aston Villa
    SAT 6 APR Wigan
    SAT 20 APR Stoke
    SAT 4 MAY Arsenal
    SUN 12 MAY Newcastle

We are more than capable of getting wins at Saints and Reading and for me we will definitely win at Everton where nearly we always get something. And for those who think thats bo!!ox who would have thought we could win at the skum? Who thought we would hold Citeh?? Not many of us im sure. So lets believe and this can be done.

I honestly think the Blackburn fans got their team relegated last season with the constant booing of the players and manager. Don't let us do the same. Starting from Man Ure lets be hostile and give the team everything we have.

    U R'ssssssssssssssssssss

Would like to hear the whole QPR corner get behind it, at the same noise as they sing

Only if we think we can stay up. Defeatism - presented as realism- won't help. Tbf, however, the team Harry puts out and the performance they give sets the tone for the fans. It's never, at home any rate, the other way round. Place was as flat as a pancake beginning of the Norwich match because we'd all seen the team and we knew we'd struggle. The fact that we proved punch less up front first half dampened the atmostphere further. My mood was soured by the baseless rumours thst Clint had been ursurped as captain. It was v different against Man City. It's true, however, that we're all in this together. As someone said on here after MK Dons we can only be the twelfth man if we have eleven (or so...) on the pitch..

This is so true but i think we've seen in recent weeks the teams that Harry has been putting out have been giving everything albeit the game against MK Dons. Every last one of them against Norwich tried their t!ts off so we can't complain about that. And the same pretty much could be said against Citeh and the Skum. So for me if theyre giving everything then so shud we. If were not good enough then so be it but at least we go down trying. What has p!ssed me off this season is that were in this position because of the likes of Boswingwa, Cisse etc who didn't give a flying ****. Against Norwich we weren't good enough but i felt that was down to Harry's tactics for the first 60 minutes. After that we looked a team capable of winning (and losing). But that's what we have to do from now on in take risks and we as fans have to lift the team as much as we can and not get on their backs over a missed place pass here and there. As hard as it is sometimes we as fans can't afford to let it go flat.

the problem is the crowd is so nervous it doesn't help. I though the atmosphere for Harry's first home match v Villa would be great to show our appreciation, but it was flat, nervous and uninspiring. Can't see that it has or will get better until we start to get some wins. I know it is chicken and egg, but nerves really seem to limit the atmosphere.
