Faurlin and Ferdinands wages should cover Sambas (TF said on Radio5 he was on 65k)

All other ins and outs (Townsend/Jenas/Young - Dyer/Hulse) are lower earners and have minimal impact

      OP just WUMing
      Well said.

He also said he doesnt actually know what he is talking about in a post earlier in this thread- which tends to takes away a lot of credibility from his argument.

Only 5 or so CBs in the Prem earn more than him

Doesn't make him a bad player - far from it, I think he's excellent - but he's not going to get much in the way of a transfer fee if he leaves as we'll be subsidising wages
And you know exactly how much Samba is on a week do you?

Geng- you're falling into the trap of mixing facts (which you don't know) and what you think.

He turns 29 next month. I'd call that nearly.

Everyone who is calling me clueless over Samba's wages seems to have TF as their source for his 'actual' wages.

Have a think about why it might be in both TF and Samba's interests to downplay the salary received...

I haven't heard TF mention anything about his wages - my source of his wages is the same source that told me on 5th December he would be signing for us. So now your turn; who's your source for his apparent mega wage?

So do you know how much he is on or not? And if so, how do you know?
TF hasnt said how much he is on, he's simply said the figure reported is wide of the mark.

Ref the loans and amounts paid, you're missing the point completey. DJ and Both were at lowere league clubs, who often pay a fraction of a players wage. Cisse, Ferdinand and Faurlin went out to top flight clubs in their relevant country, hence would expect them to pay significant % of their wages.

And yes the far east clubs do throw money about so i would not be surprised in the slightest if they paid Cisse's wage in full.... do you not see the money effectively retiring players get offered just to play in the far east....?

As for your last comment, you now accept we could be paying slightly less in wages now, which completely contradicts the statement in your opening post.
Only Cisse was on a high wage.

And I seriously doubt they would pay all of his wages when no one else apart from some poncy Greek club were after him. They had the negotiating power, not us.

Another completely ridiculous thread aimed at discrediting our board, some of our fans astound me and I really don't know what they exactly are trying to achieve, apart from attention seeking like that other idiot on Twitter Scott Jones.

Can we not have a 'Marshys thoughts' thread?

That way it cuts down on the endless negative ones popping up on an hourly/daily basis.

Not discrediting the board. Just asking people not to blindly believe everything that is pumped into their little minds by the PR machine.
