  • So, Harry?

Harry Redknapp – easing up on his pre-window pledge to stay frugal and stop QPR owner Tony Fernandes "having his pants taken down" on wages. Harry said QPR's £25m package for Loïc Rémy and £28m for Christopher Samba, with no relegation pay-cut clause, show how: "Tony deserves a lot of credit. He's worked ever so hard."

    • Harry's wider pre-Christmas message: a nod to the Portsmouth experience: "You shouldn't be paying these wages when your stadium only holds 18,000." Harry said if QPR were still struggling in January, he'd tell Fernandes not to spend. "What's the point? What are you going to do – load yourself with more big wages?"

    what happend there then?

No doubt its a massive turnaround ,and after reading what Tony had to say (on here ) about the long term plan, weve just got to trust him ,its as simple as that .
I have to admit no matter what anyone says theres a nagging doubt in my head that worries me about the future of our club being played with irresponsibly by wealthy business men, but as i said ,whats happening is happening and weve ,just got to trust Tony ,that he knows what he`s doing and he`s true to his word . ( Afterall he`s kept every promise so far )

He balanced it by players going out on loan.

Harry has said we have reduced the wage bill this transfer window. But people only hear what they want to hear!

                Clearly the latter.

OP wrong on pretty much everything.

Madness init. Tony has clarified we have a lower wage bill now than we did before the window.

But hey don't let facts get in the way of a good moan eh.

well i thought it was worth a discussion, but obviously everything is rosey and theres no need to challenge anything we're fed from the top.

little bit worrying in my eyes that a football man has said theres a wrong way of doing things and then done it anyway.

The part you missed is he said that only if we weren't in touching distance with the teams above us, but he got then got the results to change that come January.

Agree with OP. People on here are remarkably easy to please with cliched soundbites.

Do you really think TF was ever going to say 'yeah we've loaded up yet more ridiculous contracts and we're taking a gamble on the future of the club'?

Anyone still reckon Arry is honest about everything, guv? He's said completely different things over the past month or so to suit his agenda
