  • Richard Keys & Mark Hughes

Keys was at it again this morning about why we are only paying Hughes his monthly wage and not the lump sum payoff as detailed in his contract !

Same as the other day, except now his added that we are trying to stall until MH gets another job, in the hope we won't have to pay him up !

Looks like he'll get the full amount then as that sheep-worrier should be un employable in football now VVANKERS the pair of them
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

didn't listen - was it just speculation or was there a reliable source? We should only give contracts with Performance Management built into them so we don't have to pay anyone their contract if they fail to meet specifically outlined targets. Hardly any clubs have to pay up contract values now, so if we do, then we need to sort that.

I am more inclined to think it is just bad journalism as the poo end of the media always talk about paying up contracts, when in fact it is not the case and compromise agreements are reached.

Well the other day he was ranting about how QPR shouldn't have been allowed to employ Harry until we'd paid off Hughes ! Then after a break he apologised and said we were paying MH monthly when the contract stated he should get a lump sum !
You can decide yourself whether that came straight from the moaning Welsh git , (sorry Dave )

they are the worst appointments by Talksport. Bring back Porky Parry. He was comedey gold.

Although unniest thing ever heard was the Alan Brazil line of the century : "Garry, what about Bob's health now?" There was a pause before a bemused Bushell replied: "Alan, he died... at Christmas." Said an undaunted Brazil: "Oh, I heard two different versions of it." I laughed all the way to work.

I don't know why anyone listens to TalkSport. If you want proper sports journalism 5Live is streets ahead and also quite amusing at times.
