  • From the position we are in...

1.68pts per game is needed for the R's to get to the average points total that has guarenteed survival for the past 8 seasons.

That's out of reach for us now surely?
A win yesterday might have gave us a real chance but we blew it...

Well, with each game against a team of Norwich's standing, that we fail to win, the drop gets ever closer.
We are running out of games fast, we need to beat Swansea at their gaff next week, before we face Manchester United at Loftus Rd, and for us, that's a very tall order.

Statistically though the teams at the bottom will be around that average points total though so...

Fulham had 17 points mid March the season they stayed up & look at Wigan last season.

I'm optimistic but am obviously devastated about yesterday as that was a massive 2 points dropped.

Need to turn the form table upside down next week & beat Swansea!!

I fear we need to get three points from either Swansea or Man Utd to have any chance

Away fans next week need to be up for it and let the players know how much this means. Lets fill the away end from when their warming up and get the songs going from then on

reality is we are at the point where virtually whatever we do, we are reliant on 3 others having a bad run in.....can happen still
not done yet but is looking harder each passing week

We beat Swansea and we have a good chance. We don't and we are in real trouble as I highly doubt we will get anything from Utd - therefore we would still be shy of the 20 points mark with 11 games left. I reckon we will turn the jacks over tbf.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Swansea will be an important result for us, MattyRangers....One way, or another.

We are already down, really. Too short of strikers.
Having said this, next season could be a good one.

Statistics NEVER lie.....and will NEVER lie in the future. To be absolutely guaranteed sure to stay up we need 7 points every 4 games. Is that possible? I think not.

                          guessing your not a statistician
ever heard the line "there lies, damn lies and statistics" or "you can prove anything you want with statistics"

statistically, every human being has less than 2 legs
