We did not actually play that badly. I think when at the game you miss/forget some of the things which are going on

The key is what can we go to bring a goal threat to the side. Do we sacrifice the clean sheets in the effort to get on the score board or do we keep it tight and hope for the remainder of the season one of the three or four chances we do create a game we take.

Exactly what I thought. Harry has improved our defence, but how many shots on target did we have?

We shouldn't need to sacrifice anything to get goals, I think we have more goal threat now than we have for a while. Samba in for set pieces for a start but he is also a brick wall defensively. Zamora will get fitter each week. Townsend looks like a handful in the short space of time Ive watched him. Taarabt needs to do shooting practise... The main thing was to hold onto the ball more which I think we did better against Norwich instead of just sitting back and getting pounded from all angles...the goals will come naturally.

We didn't play that badly, but we need to do better . Nowich are one of the weaker teams. We are at home and we really need a win. I can't see us winning games with 2 holding, Derry and Mackie in the team. We had 3 good performers yesterday in my book, the rest did little.

The 1st half performance was dreadful. QPR improved once Zamora came on because Mackie as a lone striker is a utter waste of time. He reminds me of a dog in the park chasing a ball.
But once he had Zamora in the side he was able to chase flick ons which enabled QPR to win a penalty (shame Taarabt wasted the goalden opportunity).
I think QPR really need to practice set pieces a lot more. The free kick on the right wing taken by Taarabt curled away from the far post. Had it been taken by a left footer it would probably have gone straight in.
Also, Norwich had 3 players on Samba, so QPR need to make sure that if others do the same that they utilise the extra players and aim the ball at the likes of Hill and Zamora and Jenas instead. Perhaps they will then ease off Samba. Other free kicks around the box should also be taken by others rather this just Taarabt.
For me, the two points dropped yesterday has undone the hard earned draws against spurs and Man City.

18 PL goals all season...... Two penalties, both missed (if the first was scored on the rebound). The same number as Van Percie on his own. Goals don't come naturally, alas. You have to create and score them. Playing Mackie up front by himself is part of the problem. Ditto playing Derry, Mbia and SWP in the same defensive formation. With FBs who cant go forward. I'm not confident that having scored 18 goals in 25 games we can score sufficient in the last 13. Still, we have up try....

We had 17 shots at target of which 8 were on target!
