I would like to point out that Sheff utd fans absolutely love him and were gutted they didnt sign him perminantley.

Seeings as this was all based on his RECENT loan spell there, and considering Sheff Utd were up amongst it all last season, excuse me for not joining the rest of you in slagging him off already.

have you seen me mention torres....you crack me up...you automatically think people are moaning when they are stating their opinion.....whats the use in saying i don't rate him but he is better than we have we'll make do.....pointless in the long run because it makes it harder to get behind a player if you don't think he is all that.

I actually think he would be a very good signing and has all the attributes we need. Simpson needs a thing called 'support' upfront as I really don't think it is fair on the lad to play him as a loan striker. I think we look a much better team when playing 4 4 2. So yes I think he would be a great partner for the young lad and I would see it as a very positive signing so fingers crossed

none of them.....hooper is wasted at scunthorpe...would be chasing him if the club has ambition...........

i just don't rate him mate....and don't think he would make the slightest difference.....but that is just my opinion....i don't doubt others rate him...we can't all like the same players all the time.
Have always been a fan of hooper since his Grays days as thats where i am from

grays have bought in 14 new players this season...most of them from lower than the conference...got to wait for them to settle

I think he will do ok for us if it comes off, I would rate him slighty better than Blackstock so if we can get him for less than we sold dex for then it is good bussness. That said I have no illusions of play off ect this season, the vibe I get is far from that, as last season, so to keep us in a reasonable possition he aint a bad signing in my book.
I will not beleive we have real ambition until I see us back the manager 100% to do his thing and not wave him off after a few games. When we hound a club for a classier target that we want and not just put a name forward for spins sake and appeasement and when the club itself re engages with its fan base to make sure there is a 12th man..Then I will beleive, untill then I just want to see us compete.
