  • Taarabt is not part of the problem

Find it amazing that he is still getting blamed for our problems.

The problem is not Taarabt. The problem is that we're too defensive and so don't have people to link up with him. When we give him the ball and have people supporting, things happen.

As for the rubbish that he slows down play - he definitely doesn't when he has runners like SWP, Traore or Remy making runs. But, yes, he does when he looks up and all he has is a lazy Cisse or Mackie.

does need to release the ball a bit quicker though instead of going for that "one more step over for MOTD"

Yes, sometimes he can release a little earlier, but most of the times he doesn't is because of the way the team is set up.

        Adel is the problem!

Firstly we have to build our formation to fit him in, he doesn't naturally fit in as he doesn't have a position. Adel is billed as our only source of creativity in the team so we try and play everything through him and to be fair he is just not good enough. For every amazing nutmeg comes a poor pass, or an easy lose of possession. Adel cannot take a corner or a free-kick, just cannot strike a ball! Also Adel's finishing is not up to scratch. Should have scored against City and should've scored again today.

So to summarise we are totally reliant on Adel to create everything for our team and when push comes to shove he is just not up to the responsibility.

I agree with the finishing part. And he IS our only source of creativity. We have no one who is creative. Well, Granero is a bit, he has a good ball to split the defence, but other than that, we have nothing.

People keep going on about the chances he has missed, what about the chances he created that others missed?

Cyber managers are out. If he was the problem warnock, hughes, redknapp would not play him. Cyber managers on here saying his the problem, but paid pro managers disagree, how strange.

Taarbs was our best outfield player. Problem is Mackie can't lead the line alone, SWP is awful, Derry is past it and 4-2-3-1 at home is negative

As for his corners and free kicks lots were good and not finished.

We wanted the first 60 minutes

Adel is our best player, yes he should of scored the penalty but without him in the side we look woeful.

His shooting does need to improve but if it was up there with the best he wouldn't be playing for us.

The problem today was playing 1 striker (mackie) who is not really a striker and we never get bodies in the box.

How many times do you see the top teams score a goal from a goal mouth scramble where the ball bobbles out and someone smashes it in. Well we never have that someone in the box and we must take chances/risks going forward otherwise we are going down with a whimper. At least Reading can say they've had a go, can we?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

How many managers want him, no bids?? Time will tell wont be long before Rednapp has had enough as he did last time he managed him. Also check your facts both Hughes and Warnock left him out of games.

Ideally we need to find a formation which allows him to find space or be in the gap between their attack and midfield so he can turn and carry the ball. Perhaps thats him at the top of a diamond?? At the moment it feels as soon as he gets the ball they are all over him and he has to do a trick or nutmeg just to get away.

Most sides who have a player where the opo put two or three players around them when their on the ball would exploit the other areas of the pitch which are left empty we fail to do this

only rangers fans would blame it on our one genuinely flair, attacking player who might just produce that little bit of magic to score our monthly goal. you couldn't make it up...

Agree Acton 4-2-3-1 is not right for a free role. He was good today

Exactly. If he is being man-marked and has players close to him, then pass to someone else and go through that route. But we're so sh1te we have no one do this and so have to play everything through Tarbs.
