  • Holloway interview

Just took my kids swimming and popped into the local newsagents, they had the QPR magazine for sale in there so i thought i would give it a read whilst waiting for them to finish in the pool.

There is a great interview with Olly in there, he really is a QPR legend. I suggest any one feeling a bit disillusioned with the club at the moment (as i am) read it . It gives you your pride back.

    Holloways Blue and White army.

Holloway was underrated... he was doing ok until paladini came...

I think if he had given more time and allowed to build his squad we probably would had been up there.....

I still think he's good, but I find it odd that most fans disliked him, yet he was so passionate for QPR.... he will return as manager one day...

same here mate...i honestly think with him in charge of this team motivation would not be a problem and we would be at the other end of the table.
Blackpool tore wigan apart in the cup and didn't even put out a full squad.

after the wigan game he admitted that QPR were the only team to outplay Blackpool this season and they snatched a fortunate draw.

Holloway had gone stale here. Did a great job but was time for a change. We just got the change badly wrong.

he had gone stale admittedly, and he took us down but you know we had serious financial problems at both times.

What if we had finance behind us, Gerry , ollys mentor as director of football and Olly as first team coach, We would have the perfect blend of Boardroom Wedge, technical know how and motivation.

I would think this would be good enough to mount a challenge?

                      yes

gerry francis managerial genius and is my tip to be brought in this season
if it does happen dont hail me as the inside man as i have known gerry for
35 years, and yes its going to happen if jim gets it very badly wrong

but holloway is my favouerite manager of all time so i would love to see him return under gerry perhaps as team manager
while gerry goes down to stevenage and signs the new les ferdinand,we could have ian shouting at the players

Good point, I would love to have seen Hollaway with a bit of money to spend and dont think the big time charlies that JM mentioned would have arose with him at the club.

Leeds have shown how hard it is to came straight back up from league 1.

Not sure if it would be a good idea if he came back mind (not that it would ever happen), with our board - bound to clash
