    Getting silly playing him upfront

He is not a striker and has proven that game after game

He is an impact sub at best and we need to stop starting him

Penalty was a clear chance obviously. The rest were half chances at best.We created more clear chances against Man City than we did today.
Thats my point sammy if the crosses or whatever are going in then others have to get on the end. not saying he is the answer but he's not to blame either. Agree he is better in a 2 but BZ ain't fit and Bothy well maybe he should have started but i think he isn't as effective as BZ or Mackie. The only thing i can think Harry thinks Mackie is better is because of that workrate

He did do what he could indeed. But it is not good enough which is my point that we are not good enough in the final third.
Ang on sammy so a freekick is not a chance to score? ....unless he misses them then you need to blame at for missing the chances presented don't you. I would have mackie over bothroyd every time. Crosses are chances don't be silly of course they are.
I think you are talking about shots not chances. How often do you hear the pundits say so and so created a lot of chances but couldn't take any?
Any way i like mackie and too many fans #### him off too easily........without him we have no workrate

Freekicks aren't a chance to score if Taarabt takes them.

Am talking about clear chances, goal scoring opputunities that should have been scored. Ones where you think that was a real chance of a goal and we will regret not scoring that. Eg the pen but other than that we didn't have any. We rarely do.
