    Mackie

Lord help us if Remy is injured for a while and Mackie is our front man for the rest of the season then we are doomed. Credit for winning the penalty though.

You cant play it in the air cause he wins nothing, you cannot give it feet cause his touch is woeful and when we have the ball in advanced positions he makes no intellegent runs. Hence the first half Adel tries to do it all on his own as nothing is ahead of him. Second half how many knock downs did Bobby Z win and Mackie was 10 yards away from him.

Hopefully Remy is back next week and we can go 4-4-2 with SWP and Townsend on the wings and Remy with Bobby Z up top.

This. We all knew it looking at the team sheet. Better feeding off Bobby which shows he is only an impact sub.

What chances?? We created barely anything. We have nothing in the final third.

If your counting crosses as chances then this debate ends here fella.

He had a good game. He was solid. And won the penalty. But sadly "good" is not enough for our current position.

Mackie had a woeful first half because he can't play up front by himself. Fed on BZ second half to better effect. His being in the team sums us up and this sh1tty transfer window.

Its only a chance to score if someone is on the end of it or in a position to connect. West ham had something like 46 crosses the other week against us but did they have 46 chances to score?? Same as when Fabio against Spurs got to the byline and played the ball across goal with nobody near it. You cant call it a goalscoring chance cause notbody was near scoring.

Penalty was a clear chance obviously. The rest were half chances at best.We created more clear chances against Man City than we did today.
