True. But it's a really shoddy way to treat a fella. Clint was made up when announced as captain recently. Am very disappointed in Harry.

I reckon it's more than likely that Clint has turned around to Harry and said for Samba to be handed the armband........

I'm sure Harry would've spoken to Clint and given him his reasons which he would accept and get on with it. I suspect Clint will remain club captain with Shaun Derry as players rep.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I'm not sure why a fat 14 year old with the hair of Paul McCartney would pick a fight with 6'4" African man, but thats Twitter for you.

Fair bit of hypocricy on here given the fact nobody seemed to make a fuss when Clint was given the armband in the first place, even though Nelsen had been brilliant with the armband since Harry arrived....?? Or the fact PArk who was designated captain, admittedly under the old regime, lost it to Nelsen with barely any comment from the manager.....

Nobody knows what was said to Clint, it may have been have the armband for now, but we'll review it after the window depending who we get in. He mayu have even said to Clint, as he will know himself, he can't goi on forever given his age, so if there's an alternative come in who may be a better option long term, as Samba would be, he may choose to make the change.

At the end of the day Clint will perform regardless.

No hypocrisy, Del. just disappointed for a top pro. Park threw the armband away; Nelsen gave it away when he decided to leave; Clint it seems has had it taken away. I don't think that's fair. Guy's earned it. And we've done well with him as captain. Knowing the guy he'll make no fuss and up his game. But still. And if the armband doesn't matter why are folks happy to see it going to superstar Samba??

Clint has done really well, but is very limited. If we`re not relegated, he won`t be a starter next season.

Did he, or is that you making an assumption?

Although it makes sense, I didn't hear anything about him giving it up....

The Park comment was somewhat in jest as he hadn't performed well, was injured and a new manager came in so more often than not choose their own man, but Harry didn't make any acknowledgement of Park when he changed it ass fas as i know, which is pretty poor, however, i'm not stupid enough to think he didn't explain his reasons behind closed doors.... as will be the case with Clint.

But again, nobody knows what was said to Clint when he was given the armband.... he may not have expected to have it beyond January for all we know.

Clint was made captain for the rest of the season. He was made up. If it doesn't bother you, it doesn't bother you. Fair enough. It bothers me....

The point is he was probably made up to be made captain even if it was one game.

It's irrelevant what you or i think anyway, what matters is whether it bothers Hill, which we dont know becasue we don't knwo what's been said.
