QPR fans claim themself to be great, but we've got a few that are just ungreatful. I haven't seen Tony Fernandes signing Samba getting as much credit as that deal deserves! Huge signing for any club in this league, let alone bottom of the league, nor the Remy deal. Infact I saw many people say what a let down this market has been, I couldn't believe my eyes. & the great fans are especially good at slating players before they've even played a game like our best player this season Ryan Nelsen, pointless signing was the cry when Nelsen signed.

I'm glad people use their harsh judgement on a forum because inside Loftus Road you wouldn't be spouting this ********.

I'm not sorry about the outburst at all. Wake the puck up. What if Jenas ( Harry's tried & trusted on a free transfer with low wages ) surprises you like Nelsen? I don't want to see you giving him credit then, it's people like you that ruin Hoilett's/Shaun Wright Phillips' confidence, that's if you're man enough to be a loud mouth inside the ground. It's really bugged me this thread

      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

For all the good Harry has done, he let himself down massively with this signing.

I just hope and pray he doesn't start on sat and he is a real fringe player because he's not the player harry had 8 years ago. Struggles at championship level these days. I can understand the Townsend one but to actually sign Jenas and not loan is up there with some of QPR's biggest co ck ups I am afraid to say!
You're opening line is 100% correct.

And whilst I tend to agree with you that I don't think he is a good signing, I will give him a chance and not have a pop unless he gives me reason to.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

You've got to give the player a chance weare, could turn out to be a great signing. It's all too easy to be negative but being positive helps everyone. Would love to see him do well as I do all our players.

Waiting for Mushy, sorry Marshy, to have his say

Absolutely true - it's like their own credibility is the be all and end all.

That's not far off what I think of this deal.

I dont understand it, but hopefully Redknapp will get the best out of Jenas...if he stays fit.

Dont think anyone is doing cartwheels, though a year or two a go I wd have been very excited to think we cd attract a player of his pedigree. I guess we are all a bit jaundiced after the Dyer experience. But not sure how Harry has let himself down - he had a wish list of midfielders as long as your arm and he couldn't get any of them because none wanted to come to a club bottom of the league. Plus he probably used most of the budget on a defender and striker which virtually everyone agreed was the priority. This was an 11th hour emergency signing because there was no alternative left. I intend to clap Jenas very warmly until and unless he proves himself to be lazy and completely useless. Who knows, he might surprise a few people? Personally I've given up making predictions about how players will pan out - some of those I was really excited about haven't worked, and one or two I was sceptical about (Nelsen, Hill, Derry, Onouha) have forced me to eat my words. Lets get behind him.

Jenas has not set the world on fire in the last couples of years. He has played well in the past which tells me there is some ability there.
Don't see hm playing / starting every game and quite frankly what's gone on before is not relevent to our remaining games.
Let's give him a chance, see how he plays and then make judgements based on his performances in a blue and white hooped shirt, nothing else.
If he smashes one in the back of the net in the next few weeks, the sceptics might have egg on their boats

lets give him a chance and see what Harry can get out of him . Not Harry's first choice or probably even second but lets see what Harry can do with him. He has 21 caps for England from a few years ago so must be something there.

it's all about how he fits in with the team plan and tactics , not being a show pony . if HR can do this then great . remember its a team game

I think he'll do ok if im honest, not a bad signing.

If he gets a run of games he might just surprise a few people
