For all the good Harry has done, he let himself down massively with this signing.

I just hope and pray he doesn't start on sat and he is a real fringe player because he's not the player harry had 8 years ago. Struggles at championship level these days. I can understand the Townsend one but to actually sign Jenas and not loan is up there with some of QPR's biggest co ck ups I am afraid to say!

i'm pretty this wasn't Harrys first choice, we missed out on others but he needed to bring someone in, it's a relatively short term deal so won't be a disaster if it doesnt work out. The question is can he stay fit and play to his potential....probably not I suspect!

Free transfer plus low wages from what Harry said. So, maybe (as Harry has worked with him a lot over the years) he is a better of judge of what he can offer than us? He's not exactly a massive risk in terms of outlay and I'm sure he is not the player Harry is looking at and thinking - he's the one to keep us up.

As I posted last night about Puncheon not being given the 5 minutes he spent on the pitch on his debut before people started to moan - it seems JJ won't even get that. Unless I'm very much mistaken, Puncheon is a stand out player for Southampton week in, week out in this league but because he wasn't given a chance to prove his worth here, he is described as absolute turd, not good enough even for the BSQ League.

Shown in the past he has ability. We have plenty of Midfielders so Harry would not have got him in if he never thought he added to what we already have. Harry has managed him the last four seasons so if he fancies him I dont object.

If he stays fit I think he could be a top player we have not had a box to box player in a while who can pass a ball hopefully he could be the one

I dont think he will be as bad we some of us think. Im not exactly excited about it, but look how poor Park and Granero have been. People could argue that Granero has improved, but hes certainly not performing anywhere near what id expect a top prospect from Real Madrid to be. Park has been awful too, so I dont see how Jenas can be any worse. I doubt he will start anyway
