A friend who worked for Sky told me that most were sad to see Andy Gray go as he was well-liked. Keys was despised and when a group of his colleagues set him up to show what a twunt he was and get him out, Gray was unfortunately caught up in it.

Talksport is funded by advertising etc They are always going to bring up stuff that winds people up so they get the call-ins aswell. If you listen to that sh!t and actually get wound up by it then you're more gullible than the old grannies that have their driveways tarmac by pikies.

Spot on fella and well put! It's more of a comedy show full of clowns in my eyes.

Yeah that's the company policy isnt it, and by your definition clearly would be the same for any entity funded by advertising..... Basically you're talking sh1te by generalising.

Yes there are some presenters who come up with the odd weird idea or controversial topic to spark a debate, but it's not across the board. Also by suggesting that on this thread about Richard Keys, you're giving him far too much credit. His comments were nothing to do with creating a debate or generating calls, particularly as their show rarely has callers because they both love the sound of their voice too much to offer airtime to listeners, they were simply stupid comments from a clown who doesn't do his homework and uses his position to try and spout BS into the minds of others. He's an idiot.

Best thing to happen to Sky Sports was his departure, you get blokes like him in daily life such as at work who know **** all about the game but somehow by acting all billy big ****** can create a persona that they have lived and breathed football their entire life when you know up to the age of 30 they had never been to a match and had never played the game at any level let alone at school.

These idiots tend to have entered into society from the mid to late 90s. Prior to that people who talked football generally knew what they were on about.

A controversial thought as I've got nothing better to do, is that on transfer deadline day I found Simon Jordan quite interesting and entertaining, I know he sl@gged us off calling us "lunatics" but as a club we are use to critiscm, just found his views genuine compared to sterile and corporate sprouting of Quiinn and the panel of yes men that was on that awful BBC transfer show.

I dont like him, but he is good because he knows what he's talking aboiut and says it how it is. I do have a lot of time for him becasue i thin kit was Keys he slated and corrected when he was spouting rubbish (again) regarding us getting ponts deducted because of the Faurlin issue the other year.

WHen on Sky the other night i thought it was quite good when Quinn answered a question about who to sign as a chairman and go with your decision, don't be influenced by fans etc ..... Jordan, putr him in his place by saying, With all due respect to Niall, there's a big, big differenec between being an acting chairman and an owner chairman when it's your own money on the line..... The fact he was a lifelong fan of Palace just made it harder becasue he wanted similar things to other fans and wanted to lift the club etc and sometimes a risky signing can do that.
