  • why i think that qpr made the biggest mistake in there history

you guys remember how i used to go on about adam le fondre who was eventually bought by reading for only 350 000 pounds,i get these little nuggests from a proffesional scout who is used by several london clubs,a player we have badly missed out on is charlie austin,he is 6ft 2 inches tall and only 22 years of age but its the remarkable way that he is improving hes twice the player this season that he was last season, everybody is scouting him but for some reason knowbody is trying to sign him,I really think that like le fondre this kid will be a real striker to watch in the future, but where as le fondre sold for 350 000 this boy will eventually sell for ten million pound, plese remember that it was me that pointed out this brilliant striker

The difference between Le Fondre at 350,000 and Austin is that Burnley will want a huge fee for him.

Depends if he performs in the prem. if he fails that 10mill down the drain.

10m for a championship striker is a big risk. Jay Bothroyd looked good when he was at Cardiff, but hasn't really cut it a level up.

Yeah he is too expensive now. Should have bought him when we entered the PL.

I think everyone in the country already knows about Austin, he isnt exactly breaking news

Personally I think we should have tried to get him as I agree he is only going to get better and even if he is not eventually a top prem player he would be very good next season if we went down

We tried to get crouch instead and didnt make it
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

I don't think he's worth £10m. Le Fondre would have been the right signing from Rotherham and I do remember you going on about him them Ted so fair play

There's a youngster at Watford (Vydra?) whose got quite a few goals this season. Might be worth a look and would cost a lot less than 10m
