  • Our fans make us laugh sometimes

Some of our fans should be ashamed...

The reaction by some to our signings is quite astounding, slagging off players BEFORE they have even kicked a ball, once again. TF and HR did their best and for many reasons weren't able to buy anymore players but as has already been proved this year we can compete with other teams and our squad could still keep us up.
If we go down it wasn't due to signing Townsend or Jenas, it was our failure in the first half of the season.
Booing Park on Tuesday night told me enough about some of our fans and tonight has confirmed it.

Blah, blah...Jenas aint quite M'vila and Townsend aint quite Odem so understandable to be slightly deflated.

Our fans make us laugh sometimes

We address a problem area with a player who would get in 18 out of 20 teams in this league, we bring in a french international striker to replace a lazy ex french international striker, we bring in a young and hungry winger, a centre midfielder with something to prove and a promising left back...but people are still moaning?

Also people saying about Harry being disappointed, it's mind games. If he keeps us up, he seems like a miracle worker but if he goes down its because he didnt get the players he wanted. Results time Harry, you just spent a lot of money and you need to show some improvement because of this £20 million investment.

I'm personally chuffed at the business we've done, most of you lot sound like you need the samaritans or something though.

Cheer up, we're going to beat Norwich saturday

EDIT: Can a mod please give me my thread back, I'm not saying ashamed

yeah good positive post Del we gotta get on with it now. One of our main probs this season have been set pieces and now we have a huge presence in the box, at both ends, and maybe fate has dealt DJ the chance to be a real hero

We should be grateful that we've got Remy and Samba!! A good striker and a good centre-back!

Two excellent signings, two young signings who hopefully can show us some of their potential and jermaine jenas haha jury's out and so it should be, has been very poor whenever I've seen him play over the last few years. Like all QPR players, he will get my full support, also he's not exactly any worse than park.

glad for remy & samba but why are people quoting the 20m as if thats whats important.... its the playersd we've spent it on tht matter

realistically we still have clint hill in our 1st 11. we've swapped faurlin for jermaine 'championship at best' jenas. we still have only 3 strikers.

theres no nuance to our signings, we've just been sold known names by agents. there are real bargains to be had on the continent, if anyone does a little research...

BUT we are better than we've been at any point this year. theres hope

wigan, southampton, reading, villa, sunderland, west ham

none of these teams have signed as good a striker as we have in Remy and none have even got close to signing as good a centre back as Samba who is an absolutely awesome signing
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

Am very deflated. Great centre back, but we had one of those until Tuesday night.... How else have we strengthened our squad??? Are we to watch Mackie run around line a headless chicken for the next 14 games? Granero think five times before playing the ball. Sh1t we're weaker in midfield than we were previously.....

In terms of Faurlin leaving? Have you seen his performances recently? Lad has been shocking.

Not sure how much of an improvement Jenas will be but he cant get much worse than the last few months of faurlin
