Do not spend all your money in one place.......that is what I think we have done.......problem is we have too many holes in our cheese. Even more with the players we send out today. Faurlin is not what I would have liked.......Derry can not play every game.....

Lets see what HR can do.....we HAVE to win on saturday and in a comfortable way as well me thinks to boost and build our confidence and form.

2 wins all season no matter how much we have improved of late its still only 2 wins all season. Now is the time to walk the walk.

We've done good business, if we get some of our other players fit and on form like Granero, Hoilett and Zamora we're going to be fine. Defence looks solid, we have more options up front. Definitely a good window for us.

I have a feeling Townsend is going to be a fan favourite. Really looking forward to seeing him get a run in the side. Samba definitely the stand out signing of today, but let's not forget Remy is a huge improvement on anything we had up front before. His movement and footballing ability is class, and he obviously has bags of composure.

If Townsend is as good as some are saying then why aint any Prem clubs come-a-knocking?

Lost Ferdinand? Getting rid of him was a bonus!

Very thin at the back and that is evident in my thread with the full squad listed.

Not sure Ehmer would be trusted as untried, would mean mbia being moved to CB if any suspensions or injury to hill or samba

Because they don't want to deal with Levy? Don't need a left winger? Didn't know the player was available? Plenty of reasons really.

I'm really not sure it would have worked out. His wife and baby are in hospital. We've signed guys in the past with personal problems (Cisse and Diakite) and look where that got us.
I was thinking the same thing yesterday when I heard about his issues, add to that Nedum had some distractions with his family (mother?) he seems to be more settled now! This is also why I wondered whether Nelsen staying on would have worked out, we need players 100% focused on keeping us in the Premier League right now and we can't really afford to have players who aren't completely concentrating on that! I hope I don't come across as a uncaring hard ass person but this is where we're at!

Why did Townsend come to LR, leave and then come back. Was it Open House today or were they serving free drinks?

Townsend is only 21 and has been in 9 clubs in the last 3 years so he has tried a lot in the Championship. A 21 year old is not going to save our season but he is dangerous and can score an odd goal here and there.
