The last thing we need is players just looking up and hoofing the ball to him. What we need is another quick player with ability on the ground, to compliment Tarbs and Remy. At the moment when Tarbs gets the ball, the only runners he has are Remy and SWP - SWP is too inconsistent (missed 5 great chances for each he scores), so we need another runner to be able to link up and put away the chances. Crouch is not this player.

How does anyone know whats happening.
Just to keep you updated. SSN just posted this...
A surge of interest in QPR signing Peter Crouch has prompted us to go odds-on that the Stoke striker will be heading to Loftus Road before the close of the window. Meanwhile, we have suspended betting on Jack Butland's next club in our Transfer Specials.

His worst attribute is in the air - Peter Crouch has a very good first touch and ball skills considering there's about 17 miles between his eyes and the ball when it's at his feet. Hoofball to Crouch as a tactic is just a myth and one of the reasons he doesn't really fit in at Sjoke#standuptocancer

Crouch is a hold up man like Zamora, but he's a better finisher. Wish we'd have landed him myself.
