Collymore is just doing what any decent journalist ought to do: ask the right questions.

yeah good point but also i think a lot of the chit chat is cos actually there is nothing to talk about - no ManUtd buying players or arsenal or cfc a lot of the EPL is in hibernation and so any of the few clubs actually doing anything get all the focus of journos - just to talk about something.

A journos can not find out how much a player earns the only way that is possible is if a club or a player spills the beans and they don't do that. Same goes with transfer fees , nobody at anzhi or qpr have said the figure nobody even knew of a release clause until yesterday but this magical figure of 12.5m has appeared. Journo ********.

The 'classy journos' asking questions about us are the same people who have been campaigning for justice for Hillsborough, for safe standing in football grounds, against ridiculous ticket prices, against charlatan foreign owners and so on.

That is a good point. Look at the Granero fee that people quote. It included his wages over the contract so was nowhere near as high but then that is not as newsworthy is it!
