  • It is not that bad

I attended the Accrington game on Tuesday and although the guys made hard work of it, I did feel that it was more due to the fact that many of of them hadn't woken up before they walked on the pitch. Yes, Accrington had quite a bit of possession, but not at any point in the game did I think that QPR would not get a result in the end.

Many players seemed to be treating it like a practice match which is obviously the wrong way to approach a game such as this.

Anyhow, I have a problem with some fans of our club. Not only during the game but aterwards on websites they are painting such a negative picture of our future.

In Buz, Vine and Rowlands we have three players that are coming back from serious injuries. They will never be back to their old selves over night no matter how much training they do. Anyone that has played football knows that match fitness a different thing altogether.

Then you go to the defence. Our defence was rock solid last season. There has been a bit of tinkering thus far this season, but even so, we have not let in many goals. People are giving Gorkks stick. My concern is that this guy is very much a confidence player. It is vital that the boo boys do not get to him. Furthermore, Damian Stawart has had no break over the summer. Bottom line is that our defence does not turn bad overnight.

In midfield, I am always concerned when I see Legs and Mahon together, however, we have so many skilful players either side that will click.

It seems to me that many of our fans are getting carried away with themselves. Yes I know Flavio has suggested there was a four year plan. I am sure that things arent exactly running to plan but stop swearing at the guy. He is as much passionate about our club as many of us.

Yes, we have all had to pay quite a bit more for our season tickets, but regardess of that, that has not brought much extra cash in. It does not take a rocket scientist to work out that these guys are digging deep into their pockets to provide with the team we currently have. Yes, we all want a few strikers that cost a few million each, however, we need to persuade these guys to buy them with their money. Calling the board all names under the sun is not the best way to persuade them to do this.

QPR should have been playing Division one football this season at best.

I am not asking you to lick the guys ####, but lets have a bit more positivity and see if that gets us somewhere.

Not sure they are using their own money Conners, loans to the club i suspect, but i do agree, stop abusing the board and support the players........they do need us verbally backing them.

They should not have to be worried about playing at Loftus road ffs.
    They seek him here.................

I sat in the South Africa Road stand on Tuesday and there were a number of *****s in attendance. I can actually get over the bad performers out on the pitch but listening to some of our "fans" is extremely trying. The players are too nervous to make a mistake in case they are ridiculed and there is no way we are going to improve if this continues.

We all like to have a moan during a game but my frustration is with those that like to stand up solo and make a big announcement at a quiet part in the game. They think they are being funny but all they are doing is putting our team down.

I witnessed so called fans calling Buz fatty the other night. Fatty ? A guy that did us proud 18 months ago and is coming back from two serious injuries. Does he deserve that treatment ?

As for the ***** that was abusing Briatore. He looked extremely dense and as did his mate DEAN (surprised he could even spell his name correctly on the back of his short). We should rid our club of *****s like this. He did more than enough to get a lifetime ban in my book.

I do give our board a lot of support and I know a lot of others dont approve. We are all entitled to our opinions, however, if we all place ourselves in Bratores shoes right now I dont think many would be too eager to put money into the club after being insulted by a few mindless *****s. Maybe it is not their money. Regardless, money is being spent now that we did not have access to in the past.

Of all three of our owners, Briatore is the one for me that has the drive to make us become a success.

Aspects of the booing and shouting abuse at the players, does indicate that fans and players are far apart. It is up to the players to put that right, with performances on the pitch.

Booing is NEVER to be condoned or excused (of your own players) especially not 6 games into the season, will we never learn??

Conners, if more fans were like you and thought intelligently before voicing their opinion instead of the knee-jerk rubbish they spout after 6 games ffs, then they, perhaps, may see the bigger picture.

Abusing our players, board and manager is counter-productive to our performances and position.

If Briatore, Magilton or some of our top name players walk away - we are screwed.

And none of these supporters have come up with adequate or realistic alternatives so far.

Sack Magilton? Who is gonna want to come? Quality never queued up last time. They wouldn't even bother applying next time.

Briatore walks? What then? Has Mittal ever said he wants a bigger stake? Don't think so. Would Ecclestone stay without Briatore? He hardly seems that interested.

Players go? Well a lot of our targets are rapidly disappearing to other clubs and without the players we currently have we will be an even less attractive proposition.

We all know mistakes have been made and no one is making out our current situation is perfect but to constantly moan and gripe at owners, manager and players will only make the situation a lot worse.

Then will these fans be happy?

                No.

You get the club you deserve, at the end of the day.

Players have to start putting in performances on the pitch which warrant the money that the fans are putting into the club. The players are underachieving big time at the moment and that is why so many fans are totally disillusioned with the club. We keep changing the manager but the same players seem to stay at the club.

The fact that the players have to get picked up in a silver Mercedes from the car park to the ground is a joke. All they have to do to win the support back from the fans is to start winning and winning with a bit of style!

One more in agreement with this positive perspective. Certainly too early to panic.
Shame about the players not walking past the sprinbok. A few knobheads have spoilt it for everyone.

                          Amen!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                          2015/2016, average at best.....

                          2016/2017, same old, same old....

                          2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

99.9% of the time the players always got praise with fans singing their names. Only person to get stick often was Ali Russell and that was deserved in my opinion!

Yeah but the QPR crowd have always been like that...

Remember Tony Scully? He definately had the ability to be a great player, but as soon as he put a foot wrong the crowd really used to dig at him and they drained all his confidence away making him a poorer player.... its a shame, I've seen many players at loftus road booed to death and it doesn't do us any favours, but thats QPR for you. I even know a couple of the players now hate playing at home purely to do with the crowd...
