Again I think there is a lot of ignorance when it comes to Granero:
1. If Harry says he is the free-kick taker (which I am guessing he is saying), Adel needs to back off when we get one. As someone said earlier in this thread, it must add a lot of pressure. His corners etc are generally very good.
2. Yes he lost possession a few times in the first half. We could all see that. These things happen especially in the difficult conditions as the first touch is a lot harder. Also, you need to consider if players were showing up for him... However whoever said he is lightweight is completely wrong. Look how he holds the ball most of the time when he has it. Also, look at how many tackles he made yesterday, quite a few.
3. It was him who put Adel through, it was him who put Remy through for the shot that nearly deflected in the first half. He split their defence 3-4 times yesterday with incredible through balls. He is a genuine match-winner.
4. He worked his nads off for the team and defended superbly.
5. We need different types of players. Derry will virtually never make an assist. You need to take more risks to make an assist, so generally you give the ball away a bit more.
