yeah exactly, we seem to forget players go through these things too.

Exactly. said in a recent interview he's desperate to perform as well as he can for his mum, as she was always right behind his career and made him keep playing when she was ill, so he wants to do well for her.

It's certainly inspiring him and spurring him on because now we're seeing the player that was hyped at City a few years ago.

Playing really well. Stays on his feet, gets the tackles in, and is even looking a bit comfortable on the ball at times when going forward.

Lamps is inspired by his mum as well, as he always acknowledges above when he scores penalties.

Thought he had another fantastic game has been excellent lays 5-6 games was prob our best v Liverpool in a dire team effort and has been great since.( he may have to play at CB if we don't get someone in by Thursday)

He was superb tonight again but insists he would prefer to play at Centre Back. His comment in the programme tonight though said that he wants to be a CB but there are players not in the team that would love to be in his position - so he's happy to play at full back too.
Also have to say Traore made me think tonight as I've said recently he is a poor full back and only decent going forward. He did really well tonight too. Certainly the best I recall him playing as a defender.

Yep. Haven't been his biggest fan, but he's been excellent since Christmas. Played his part in a great back four. Good to see.

If it wasn't for his superb tackle in the box we would have conceded , any other day a ref would have called it wrong but this ref got it spot on.

Doesn't this mean that it isn't really the fault of the players that we were doing badly (well not all of them) but the fault of a poor manager. Of course that manager would say that the team is beginning to gel.

Considering its not his favoured position, I think he has been pro.
